"I miss you. I am bad at being apart."

Jhoana

It was a long flight going back home and she couldn't wait to step out of the plane to stretch her legs... and of course to see Bea. Two months felt like forever, especially because she slept and ate alone most of time except when Marci invited her somewhere. After the argument they had just weeks ago,  she had been tempted to buy a ticket home and patch things up personally.

The cold breeze embraced her skin as soon as she climbed down the plane and proceeded to ride the shuttle. She sent her parents and Bea a message that she had landed before shoving it back in her bag so she could get her luggage and leave. The moment she exited the airport, the tall girl was already waving frantically at her across the arrival area.

"Jhow! Babe! Andito ako!" She announced without a hint of embarrassment.

Her faced turned red in an instant as emotions from left to right came crashing. Bea was there and she was home. She missed her so much that she wanted to cry. Maybe she was really bad at being apart from her. Maybe believing she was not needy and clingy made her one and she guessed it's fine. Bea was the right person to be clingy with because she enjoys it, she craves for it.

All Jhoana did was flash a timid smile and walked slowly to her.

"Grabe, it doesn't look like you miss me," Bea complained with a pout.

She chuckled lightly and held her girlfriend's face in her palms. "It's so cheesy pero I feel like ang tagal kitang hindi nakita na hindi ko alam anong sasabihin sayo. Hindi ko alam kung magsosorry muna ba ako or sabihin ko na mahal kita..."

She almost jumbled the last few words, but maintained her focus. "Basta ang alam ko lang nung pagbaba ko sa plane, gusto kitang makita."

Bea's lips formed a playful grin. "Yieeeee! Tangina pinakilig mo ako dun, Jhow! Nagworkshop ka lang, iba na yung mga linyahan mo! Shet!"

She let go of her face and shot her a death glare. "Hey! I'm honestly expressing my thoughts here tapos you're teasing me."

Bea sighed in amusement before planting a kiss on the morena's forehead. "Tampuhin mo naman, hon. Ganon ba talaga pag galing America?"

She took a step back and studied Bea's face. Her eyes glistened with joy and excitement. "Oo. Bakit?"

"Wala lang. But kidding aside, I missed you, Jho."

And because of that, her heart melted. She doesn't know what Bea does to make her soften at every encounter. No matter how mad or annoyed she was at her, Bea never failed to find her way around her heart. She gets her every time.

She was unconsciously gawking at the tall girl for quite some time, completely immersed in her thoughts.

"Huy!"

She woke up from the trance and responded nervously, like it was her first time talking to the ever charming Bea de Leon.

"A-ano ulit?"

"I said I missed you."

There are no words that can express how much she missed Bea too, and only one thing can make her feel that. Carefully, Jhoana stepped towards the love of her life and met her dark dreamy eyes. She was again captured by its spell, drawing her closer with every second that passed. She let the moment take over, cancelling out the noise of those surrounding them.

First, there was electricity, then there was warmth. Sweltering heat covered her body. Then it felt like heaven, when their lips touched for the first time in two months. They broke apart with a satisfied smile on their faces.
