"When I finally found
her, she asked me where
I had been all this time.
I got lost, I said,
and I had to take the
long way home."

Jho

"Bea, will you marry me?"

There was a deafening silence that took over. Bea's gaze was relentless, unraveling her from top to toe. She could feel her legs wobbling and she was losing it.

"Jho, I-" Bea's croaked. Her eyes were filled with tears but she could not read her. Was she happy? Is she going to be rejected?

Damn, she's not sure if she wants to hear the answer.

She's still hopeful, though because she's done doubting Bea's love. However, she can't help but think of the worst things that could happen that's why she panicked a while ago.

Bea sighed then bowed her head down. "Love naman..."

The tall girl's response did not help. Her stomach was twisting and churning while her heart was pounding so hard she could feel the pulse on her ears.

"Please answer. I'm dying over here," she pleaded.

Bea looked up and there was a smile breaking from her lips. Her girlfriend cupped her cheeks and she felt the warmth she always searched for.

"Yes, hon. I want to marry you. Gusto ko maging sayo hanggang dulo..."

Relief washed over her as she heard Bea's answer but she wasn't finished talking yet.

"Yes, I want to be your partner. I want to be the first one you see in the morning and the one who you'll end your day with."

Bea stepped towards her and leaned forward so that her lips were close to her ear.

"I want to be there for you through you highs and lows. I want be with you when you reach your dreams. I want you in my life, Jho."

Bea caressed her hair. "I want nothing more because I have you. I want to give you all of me. I want to make you happy, to be behind your biggest smiles, I want to build a life with you. We can live however you want as long as I get to keep you."

Now she was melting before Bea because of how honest and sweet her words are. She would always be reminded how lucky she is to be redeemed by Bea's love.

"Since you said yes, we're getting married today," she informed.

Bea's eyes widened. "Now? As in here?"

She nodded and took her hand. "Come on. They're waiting for us."

"Who is-what??"

Bea wasn't able to finish her sentence because when they went around the chapel, she was shocked to see a candle lit pathway that stretches towards a gazebo. On both sides of the pathway, their family and friends seated. They were smiling and cheering for them.

"You brought them here? You don't even know if I'd say yes." Bea was clearly confounded because of how fast things are happening. She couldn't possibly process everything right now but Jho is certain that she'd still want to get married anyway.

Jho chuckled lightly. "Alam ko sasagutin mo ako kahit medyo kinabahan ako."

Bea frowned. "Ganon ba ako ka easy to get?"
