——— 唯一の永遠に傷跡です ———
A week had passed since her break up.
Megan felt different. She felt as if she was cracking as each day passed by and there was nobody to catch her.
She would sit alone in the corner of the canteen and watch her best friend, Natalia and her 'friends' laughing.
She would watch Mark from afar as he mingled around with the other girls and flirted with them.
She felt like an outcast by just watching people she thought she could trust. It felt as if the world betrayed her and that the promise 'forever' was just a fake solace offered to comfort one.
She remembered how her friends especially Natalia promised to be friends forever.
She remembered how Mark promised to be with her forever.
She remembered how her parents promised her to be a perfect family forever.
It was all for show. A mere performance put up to make the world seem as if it was this happy la la land that everybody was welcomed into.
However despite 'forever' being a lie, she knew one thing that would always remain a 'forever'.
The scar on her face.
