When people acknowledged Megan was a fighter, they weren't wrong at all. She was always a fighter but that caused her first downfall.

And now it caused her second which was waking up in the hospital, an oxygen mask attached to her along with a few wires.

She never intended for this to happen. She wanted to die and yet, Death denied her of her wish.

Perhaps Death also saw how much of a fighter she was till he let her go. It was beyond her understanding as to why she was still alive.

Megan cursed herself for being so stupid.

Why hadn't she taken more pills?

Why did Death allow her to live?

The world didn't have an answer to this.

Neither did Megan.
