THIS IS NOT CANON! It doesn't occur in the actual story at all so NO FIGHTING ABOUT OTP'S OKAY? It's just a special Christmas gift from me to you guys (especially BlakexJesse fans ;) )

Today was finally the day I could sleep in. After a long month of training with my state's athletics side, today was my first day off. That meant no early wake up call, no early morning jog, no training in the heat of the day.

So WHY did today also happen to be Christmas.

"Jesse, get up!" Jace whined. "Everyone's waiting for you,"

"It's just you and mum," I groaned, pulling the covers over my head, "Let me sleep!"

"It's not just us this year," Jace sighed. "Mum invited everyone from school and they're all downstairs waiting,"

"Why?" I complained, finally sitting up. "It's 7am, why is everyone awake so early?"

"You usually wake up at 5," Jace pointed out. "It's Christmas, and this is technically a sleep in for you. Now put on some clothes and come downstairs!"

"Fine!" I groaned, rolling out of bed and slumping towards my dresser.

"Wear something cute!" Jace snapped at me before closing the door and heading downstairs.

"Wear something cute," I mimicked, grudgingly moving away from my shorts and athletic singlets and towards the part of my wardrobe that my mother and brother had created over the last year for me.

Yawning and sighing at the same time, I grabbed a red skater dress along with a black strapless bra and threw it on. For good measure, I threw my hair into a messy bun so my mother and brother couldn't say I didn't do my hair, because technically I did.

Heaving a sigh, I headed downstairs and was immediately greeted by a chorus of Merry Christmas! Giving a weary smile, I noticed that the lounge room was literally full of people from school. Half the girls from my dorm were here, all wearing something Christmassy, as well as most of the guys.

"Morning," I greeted, heading over towards Jace and sitting down beside him.

"Jesse, you're finally awake!" my mother greeted, bringing around a plate of biscuits and dip for everyone. "We'll be opening presents shortly,"

"Everyone pooled together and got you something," Jace grinned. "I'm sure you'll love it,"

"You guys didn't have to," I started blabbering.

"Nonsense," Emily grinned. "How can we not get you something? None of us would be here if you two hadn't switched places for a term,"

"She's right," Hayden nodded, his arm around Emily's shoulder.

"But, I haven't gotten anything for anyone," I started again.

"We know how busy you've been," Blake smiled gently. "So don't worry about it,"

"You just owe us big next year," Charlotte laughed.

"Besides, your family is giving us lunch," Harrison shrugged. "That's enough for us,"

"Oh, Olivia, Faith and Danielle apologise for not being able to make it," Gabrielle piped in. "They've all got big or split families and will be with them all day today,"

"Kalem and Patrick are the same," Jace added. "Which is great,"

"What?" I asked, confused. "What do you mean 'great'?"

"Oh nothing," he grinned mischievously, catching eyes with Emily.

Feeling a suspicious ball of worry begin to grow in my gut, I slowly stood up and headed to the kitchen to avoid their creepy gazes. As I walked in my eyes once again grew wide as I saw the amount of food that had been prepared.
