I honestly don’t know how my mother did it, but she managed to get us all brand new outfits with 30 minutes to spare, and they were all perfect fits. Everyone was relieved when we were finally dressed and had our hair combed to perfection. Everyone even got a pocket watch from Jim to go with the outfit.
So with one hurdle vanquished, the seven of us headed towards the girls room so we could accompany them to the hall where the first trials would take place. When we arrived and opened the door though, all of us froze in our places; our mouths hanging open and our jaws probably reaching the floor.
“No way,” I whispered.
“This isn’t possible,” Hayden breathed.
“If you take photo’s I’ll kill you,” Jace hissed, standing in front of the other girls.
I knew his words were mainly directed at me, but I was too stunned to actually care about the threat anyway. I mean, he was wearing the exact same dress I dreamt up at the beginning of the week.
How is that even possible?
The blue silk dress fell in ripples down to his feet, and his hair (or really wig) was up in the same style bun from the dream. Even the make-up was the exact same. I started to think I was physic or something because there was no way I could dream that up and then have the perfect replica stare back at me.
At least it’s not me in that. Then the dream really would be real.
“Come on, let’s just go already,” Jace growled, grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the room.
Everyone quickly followed suit, Patrick and the others getting ahead to lead the way. With nearly everyone in front of us, I finally took in the other girls. Faith was the first girl I noticed. He blond hair was tied back into a braid that was then bound into a bun. She was wearing a silver dress that refined her small frame, forming a V at the back.
Charlotte’s red hair was also pulled into a braid but it hung loosely down her back, with her bangs framing her face. She was wearing a red dress that looked more like it should be worn at a night club, with it hugging her body tightly and ending halfway between her knee and ankles; her black heels giving here more height but not enough to be as tall as Kalem.
Gabrielle’s hair had been curled and pinned back off her face, and it hung softly around her shoulders and back. Her strapless black dress puffed out and hung loosely to the floor. She didn’t seem much taller so I assumed she was wearing flats.
Emily was actually wearing the exact same thing she wore with me in term 1 at the photo shoot. I let out a laugh when I saw the light blue gown and the silver heels poking out underneath. I wish I could have seen her face when she saw that dress again.
Danielle was looking just as lovely as everyone else. Her hair had been curled and pinned up to the side; her fringe had been pushed to the side too showing off her sky blue eyes. She wore a deep blue dress similar to Faith’s. She was wearing the same colour flats as well.
Olivia was probably the most surprising out of the seven of them. Her blond hair had been pulled to the side and pinned up into a messily neat bun, with her bangs covering the side of her face. She was wearing a white dress that looked similar to what Jace was currently wearing and I had to admit, she looked like a completely different person without her DS in her hand. She was talking and laughing with Blake which both surprised me and also made me feel jealous at the same time.
No, no jealousy. Bad Jesse, bad!
You like him, it’s natural to get jealous.
