Letters to an Optimist

Hey Lo,

Okay, so I might have copied you with the nickname thing, but I got tired of writing 'Logan'. Call me lazy, but I don't care.

But I do care that you are starting to take an intrest in this letter thing. (You didn't say 'letter shit'! That's awesome, haha) Even if you like it a 'bacteria size' bit. I know you like it. 

And, um... thanks? For not thinking I'm as terrible as you thought I would be, this is why you don't judge a person by their letters.

 I judged you in the begining, I'm telling the truth. I thought you were someone who just hated the world, and wanted to get revenge on everyone that wronged you.  You still are, but less.

I guess that's why you're pessimistic over things, why the negative thoughts? Why don't you try thinking optimistically? 

It really does change your life. 

Let me tell you (well... write you a story). There was a little star in the sky. That star always shined brighter than the others, always full of joy and happiness. One day, that star fell out of the sky and landed on earth, where everyone treated the star horribly. The star hated it, and thought life on earth was terrible, and never thought of anything positively. 

One day, the star saw the Moon, and told the Moon about life on Earth. All the negativity poured out of the star's words, and that was when the Moon said something important.

"There are people who can have it much worse than you do, little Star. Think postively and you will shine like you did before."

The star did that, and ended up happier, always thinking of the better side of things. Always trying to help anyone who has a tough life or is in a though situation. The star was happy, and never wanted to return back to how it was before the Moon talked to her.

So Logan, please think of the positive side.  It works miracles.

I don't know how the ending will be (the story isn't finished yet, still got a long way to go!) but I've got about three options, and I'm liking one of them more than the others... lets see how this plays out!!! :D
