"Oh, Athena, fancy meeting you here." Ryan said awkwardly, retracting his arms from around me and letting them drop to his sides.
"It's a library, Ryan, lots of people come here." I scoffed rolling my eyes. I looked down at the tiled floors, not daring to glance up at him.
"Umm... so, I'm sorry." He finally muttered so quietly I almost didn't hear him. My ears perked up at this and I looked up at him my eyebrows raised in disbelief.
"D-Did you just apologize? Like, did those words really come out of your mouth?" I asked half teasing half serious. He cracked a sheepish grin.
"I'm not that bad of a person, it's just... Cathy told me to... and-" I cut him off there.
"Why would you have to listen to Cathy?" I ask my voice laced with venom when I spoke her name.
"I'm just, I think I, there's a, I love her." He blurted out causing me to take a double take, just to make sure he was really there and was actually saying that. He loves Cathy?
"Y-You love Cathy? Like, Love, love? How could you love someone like Cathy???" I ask my blue eyes widened like saucers, and my eyebrows raised high.
"I don't know, she just gets me, and she can be so sweet when she wants to, I love her a lot....I would literally do anything for her..." He said quietly looking down at the ground.
Like making me feel like crud....
"Well, then I forgive you."
His eyes snapped up to me and now he was gaping. His eyes furrowed.
"Really?" He asked looking at me like I was extremely stupid. I rolled my eyes at him.
"You loved the girl." I said simply, shrugging my shoulders.
He looked relieved to say the least, like a huge load was taken off of his shoulders.
"So, friends?" He asked with his hand outstretched for me to shake. I put my hand in his and shook his hand. He smiled at me and I smiled back.
"Okay, well I have to go, I have to get Chelsea," Ryan explained. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Why Chelsea?" I ask.
"Chelsea is Cathy's sister." My eye brows probably rose so far up they popped off of my head.
That actually explains a lot.
"Oh, okay, well bye. See you tomorrow?" I ask. He smiled and nodded. We parted ways and I headed out of the school and to my car.

"ATHEEEEENAAAA" I heard my name being shouted from downstairs. I quickly set down my pen and homework, and head downstairs.
"Yeah?" I asked when I got downstairs.
"You have company." My mom said nodding her head towards Ebony, Brit, Dylan, and Liam, who were all chilling by my front door.
"Hey, what's up guys?" I asked curiously. Their heads all snapped up to me. I was currently in my fluffy purple pajama pants and plain white shirt.
"Nice pjs." Brit teased. Everyone else was dressed nicer. Ebony in a knit sweater and skinny jeans, Brit in a hoodie with ripped jeans. Dylan and Liam were pulling off the frat boy look with the khakis and polo shirts.
I roll my eyes at Brit, subconsciously pulling some of the fuzz on the legs of my pajama pants.
"Anyways, we were all going out to eat and then the movies." Ebony explained, ignoring Brit's teasing.
