I was born because of a one night mistake.

Ang sakit sakit, na sarili mong nanay ang nagtago sa'yo ng katotohanan. It felt like she doesn't want the world to know that you're a fucking mistake. Na dahil naging mahina s'ya kaya ka nabuo.

I've been raised by a lie.

Inabutan n'ya naman ako, pero hindi pa rin n'ya inaalis ang tingin n'ya sa akin, "Don't you know it's rude to stare?"

Agad naman s'yang umiwas ng tingin. I'm still not drunk, I only had one, pangalawang bote pa lang ngayon.

I'm not really fond of alcohols but I needed them tonight, I want to drink away the pain, even just for tonight. I know I'll regret this tomorrow morning but I'll face the repercussion when I get there.

An hour later, on my fifth bottle of pilsen, "Why are you here? It doesn't seem like you" may nagsalita sa tabi ko. I faced him, oh si Yael what a great timing.

"None of your business" I found someone to let out my frustrations, "But if you like to accompany me for this fucking night, be my guest" I'm out of my mind, I'm going insane, I can't help it. Pakiramdam ko kapag hindi ko ginawa ito sasabog ako.

"Someone's drunk, come on iuuwi na kita" kinuha n'ya yung boteng hawak ko na pilit kong inaagaw sa kanya, pero sadyang malakas s'ya.

"Come on Yael, let me just finish that, sayang binayaran ko na yan" I reasoned out

"No"

"Ugh! You're no fun, let me go,kaya kong umuwi mag-isa!" Kumawala ako sa kanya at tsaka nagsimulang maglakad, oh my God, bakit paling yung daan

"Kaya pala ha" bigla n'ya akong binuhat, bridal style, oh My God biglang uminit, "I don't know what happened but alcohol never solved anything, it'll only cause more trouble" he said I can clearly understand what he's saying kahit na focus na focus ako sa labi n'ya, oh my God Amethy umayos ka, lasing ka lang pero hindi ka pervert

Ilang beses ko siguro sinisigaw sa isip ko ang oh my God, dahil sa lalaking kasama ko ngayon.

"I maybe a bad boy, but I'm a gentleman, hindi ko kayang pabayaan ang isang babaeng lasing ng mag-isa," he started the engine and drive silently, hindi na ako nagsalita pa, pagod na rin ako, mabigat na ang mga mata ko, I wanted to sleep.

Naupo si Daddy sa tabi ko hinawakan n'ya ang kamay ko. Mahigpit ang pagkakahawak n'ya, ramdam kong mabigat ang mga susunod kong maririnig.

"I'm so sorry anak" Mom trailed, she's crying so hard, "I didn't want you to know this way, sasabihin ko naman talaga kaya lang sa twing nakakahanap ako ng pagkakataon naduduwag ako" she honestly said

"Can we get to the point? Why are you prolonging the agony?" Gusto ko ng matapos 'to

"You're not my daughter" Dad spilled, I don't know what to feel, then kanino ako galing?

"He's not your father but I am your mother," Dugtong ni Mommy, so I am an illegitimate child? Anak sa labas? Great! "I'm so sorry, ayaw ng lolo mo malaman ng iba kaya itinago ka namin sa tunay mong tatay, pero nalaman din n'ya"

"And where is he? Bakit di n'ya ako kinausap? Bakit alam ni Ate Piper? Bakit?"

I wanted answers now!

"Hindi ko sinasadyang marinig noong minsang mag-away sila Mommy at Daddy" she heaved a sigh, "I promised them not tell anyone, pero hindi ko naman alam na mamimeet ko ang totoong father mo through a friend, your other sister"

"Why? Wala ba akong karapatang malaman?"

"It...it was a mistake"

"So I was the fruit of that fucking mistake! I AM JUST A MISTAKE!" sinampal ako ni Mommy pero mas masakit pa rin yung sinabi n'ya.

That's my cue, I ran as far as I can.

I swear I'm not gonna drink again, kahit kailan talaga hindi kami magiging best friend ng alcohol. My head's throbbing, I feel like throwing up, my stomach's flipping, I hate hangover but I hate myself more.

"Good morning" oh my God, I almost forgot, Yael's with me the whole night, wait walang nangyari, nasa tamang pag-iisip pa ako kahit lasing ako, hindi ako katulad ng iba na sinasabing walang naaalala kapag nalalasing, palusot lang nila 'yon.

"Good morning din" pinilit kong ngumiti kasi nakakahawa yung smile n'ya tapos ang cute cute talaga ng dimples n'ya, "Uhh, where are we?"

"Batangas" nilapag n'ya yung tray sa bed, "Rest house namin, I asked Mom if we could use this just for the night, she said yes, and sabi n'ya stay as long as you want" what? ang generous naman ng Mommy n'ya. Once ko palang nameet si Mrs. Madrid, noong pinakilala ni Yael si Ali, Christmas 2yrs ago, bago palang sila noon.

Oh, speaking of Ali, I missed her, nakarating na kaya sa kanya ang balita.

"Thanks, pero hindi ako magtatagal, paki sabi na rin kay Tita thank you" syempre marunong rin ako mahiya, I'm not planning to stay here for so long, 3days will be enough, gusto lang muna makapag-isip isip.

He nodded and left.

Tahimik ko lang kinain yung breakfast na hinanda n'ya sa akin, and I drink the medicine na kasama sa hinanda n'ya.

My headache subsided around an hour, kaya I took the chance to shower and freshen up. A long cold shower is life.

Paglabas ko ng cr, I saw a pair of clothes sa bed, white v-neck tee and jeans. I smiled, Yael is really a gentleman. This side of him must be the reason why girls fall deep.

"Yael" I called habang pababa ako, ang ganda ng rest house nila ang cozy. Hindi s'ya grand rest house, simple lang, may small kitchen across the dinning area and then small living area na may maliit na fire place like wall, since nasa Pilipinas hindi naman applicable maglagay ng totoong fireplace.

The couch seems so inviting so I tried it, nahiga ako at pumikit.
