Cover 9.5/10 The bright colors of the sunset captures the attention of anyone who sees it and appeals to the reader greatly. The font of the title and author matches the blues and whites of the sky and water so it fits in perfectly. However, I do think that the font of the author’s name is a little big because it blends in with the title and steals the attention away.
Description 6/10 The summary is very vague. There simply isn’t much to look at and even though it may explain the story itself, I still had to look in the tags to see what it was about. Readers may look it at and scroll past because it doesn’t pull them in and make them want to read more.
Spelling and Grammar: 10/10 Well done on your spelling and grammar. I noticed little to no errors with it in your work.
Overall 8/10 Well done! I quite enjoyed reading a story about a culture or group of people that I didn’t really know about. Including a small glossary of unknown words was a great idea so the reader would know what they meant. The growth of the characters and conflict was well done because you started off with their casual life, but as soon as the father was there, the conflict grew immensely. However, unless I missed it, I didn’t really capture much of the characters themselves. There was little description about what they looked like or wore which made visualizing them difficult. Another thing is that Taliya gave up so easily. I feel like this story is very realistic, but it doesn’t have that extra spice which could be added if Taliya didn’t give up. The conflict would grow, but it would have more interest to the reader if maybe there was something different than what they would typically hear about Pakistan.
However, good work and I hope you continue
