Introducing Dusk

HI! I'm OCwriter38 and I write OC stories! Todays journey is going to follow my FairyTail OC Dusk Shadows! In this part we're going to meet Dusk and find out more about her past and where her place is in this world. I hope you enjoy! Also if you like Gruvia, don't get butthurt I LOVE Gray and him and my OC go together well so in this story Juvia isn't really OBSESED with Gray so yea! THIS WILL BE A LONGGG STORY AND I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS AND AM SO EXCITED! Also Dusk joins the story after the whole Tower of Heaven thing so yea, this story will start on an Arc I created and then we will go into Tenrou and so on. I hope you enjoy!

Hey, ya there? Great. My name is Dusk Shadows and I am the main character of this story. In this little section I am going to tell you about myself, where I came from, and who I am.

Height: 5 feet 3 inches (Ya I'm short)

Age: 18, I will be 19 in a few months

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Grey

Skin Tone: VERY pale (I'm a shadow what do you expect)

Guild Mark Color: Black

Guild Mark Position: Right hip

Where do I begin with my story? Well...I'll try to say it how I know.

I was born in a different realm then the one I'm in now, the shadow realm. You see, my parents were the Shadow Lord and the Queen of Light. Midnightus and Estinara, my parents combined were the most powerful people in the known universe. My father was stronger than a dragon and my mother brought light where his shadow was. We lived happily, the Shadow Realm was where people born with light and shadow magic could live peacefully away from other people. I know I had a brother at one point but I just figured he died along with my parents or that he was killed.  We lived a lovely life just the three of us until just a few days before my 10th birthday.  I was a mature and smart little girl, but I was also very careless. My mother and I had gone out to tend to the garden, she sensed something and I sensed it was a trap and so selfishly didn't say anything or go with her because I thought it would be better to protect myself. It wasn't till I heard my mother scream that I ran to her side, there I saw my worst nightmare. A man with red hair and red eyes with black stained skin stood over my mother, I watched as he plunged a black sword into her heart. I ran to her side pushing the man aside calling her name, being a stupid kid. I watched in tears and screamed for my father. The man had cast me aside, he had a wicked grin on him while he approched me. He said words I never understood until now, "I have been waiting for you to be born and a way to get in her, listen here little Dusk, I will kill everything and everyone you care for and then I will kill you." My father ran to us in a flash, he faced off with the man and became enraged seeing my mother. The man just grinned and blasted him with a black orb he called "Shadow Virus," of course I didn't understand at the time. The man sighed and turned to me and was about to blast me with a spell but before he could, my father grabbed me and ran. I watched from the high tower as him and his group destroyed the shadow realm, my father had taken me to a safe room that only he could get in. I was so confused and so in shock, so he explained to me. He told me he was the second strongest demon Zeref had ever created and that other man was the third, he said he hit him with a spell called Shadow Virus that was going to corrupt him. He said he was going to have to send me and his most trusted adviser/knight/friend Dramacon. Dramacon had basically rasied me and was extremely powerful so I wasn't worried, but I was scared and didn't want to go. My father told me he was going to have to send me to Earthland, so I would be safe from him. I had to run from my own father, I had to leave, it happened so quick. Just like that, my father sent Dramacon and I to Earthland, I tried to run to him tears in my eyes but Dramacon grabbed me and my bag and dragged me through the portal. I was such a crybaby back then, I cried on and on about my mother and father. Dramacon helped me though, he told me I needed to be strong for them, and my people, for I was the last person born with magic in their veins, blood, and soul. I felt aweful I had lost my light magic, I was no longer the Twilight princess, I was just the shadow princess. Two days after we found our way to Magnolia, and Dramacon went into his black ferret form to be a better looking pet. I eventually made my way to  FairyTail and joined the guild, I was so grateful, and impressed how king everyone was. I had chosen to stay quiet and stay away from anyway, I would rarely talk to Master Makarov and would really only talk to Dramacon. I went on a few small jobs with Dramacon to get used to things but eventually I just stayed at the guild. Then it happened...a young mage named Gray Fullbuster approched me.

Note: I researched it and Gray joined Fairytail when he was 8, Erza joined when she was 11, Gray and Dusk are the same age, Natsu also joined at 11 i believe, I LOOKED IT UP. Dusk joined before Erza

He kept coming at me, talking to me, even if I wouldn't speak back. Eventually we talked to eachother and I grew to be friends with him. Gray and I quickly became good friends and he helped me open up to the rest of the guild. Than another girl joined with red hair, her name was Erza Scarlet, she was my second true friend. Over the years as everyone joined, Gray, Erza, Natsu, and I became some sort of team, I mainly went on jobs with Gray and I told him more about me each time. Eventually I told the guild about my family and who I am.
      I always had a hard time with my parents death, when the anniversary came around I shut myself off from the guild, but near my 16th birthday I went off on my own. On that trip I met a mage called Alec, I knew he kind of looked familiar but I couldn't pin it. Alec and I became friends as we related quickly and we became a couple. I thought I loved him, and sent a message to FairyTail that I was taking a temporary leave from the guild, I knew it was hard for Gray for me to be away so long. I stayed with Alec for 6 months and then one day I found out the truth. I heard him talking to his assistant and he was talking about what he did and who he was. He was laughing about my mothers death, the destruction of the shadow realm, and my father. At that moment my heart shattered, he used me, to try and be close to me, so I left. I ran back to FairyTail and my true friends and I only told Gray what happened. When I say mad, he was FURIOUS, Gray had always hated Alec when I told him what he did but now he had a strong dislike.
     After I returned I got over it, knowing I would never see my father again for his own good and my mother was gone. 2 years later here I am, an 18 year old and the strongest member of FairyTail, if you think Laxus and Gildarts are strong, you haven't met me well enough. You probably wonder, why aren't I a wWizard Saint? Well, I didn't want that title, I don't need a title to tell me who I am. I know who I am and what I want to do, and I don't need a title of Wizard Saint to tell me that. Welcome to my journey, for I am Dusk Shadows, Princess of Shadow, Ex-Princess of Twilight.
