Alec Arc: Hunted

Episode 20

A dark room, no, a thrown room, a man walked up to someone sitting on the crimson thrown, cloak over their head, dark shadow over their eyes.

"Sir...she has no idea...." the man bowed and kneeled before the cloaked one on the thrown.

"Excellent...what about Gray....?" the cloaked mans voice was cold, deep, scary.

"She...they...he...confessed...."

"I see...hehehahahahaha...Gray is no problem...this makes things more interesting...."

"My Lord...shall we send the hunters?"

"Yes...the light chains are ready...perfected...to only reflect her magic and make her weak...send squads A, D, X, and Z...."

"Squad Z?!"

"Did I fucking stutter Leonardo..."

"No sir..." the man trembled

"Hear me Leondardo..." the cloak stood up and grabbed a red blade from beside his thrown, "You can hurt her all you want but if you kill her...I'll kill you...No one kills my darling except me..." the hood fell and his red eyes flashed down at the man, crimson hair shone in the dim light, "Am I clear?" he said coldy

"Yes...Lord Alec..." the man stood and walked away quickly, Alec sat back down.

"See you soon my darling," he chuckled, it turned into an evil, sadisdic laugh.

It was early morning, myself and Team Natsu had gone into town, Erza had taken the others to the bakery and I had gone walking through the town. I smiled as I strolled through the city looking at the smiling people, laughing children, so carefree and happy. It brought me joy and sadness to see the world like this, happy to see them happy but sad I couldn't see it in the Shadow Realm, and those visions have also been getting to me. As I'm casually walking I'm suddenly grabbed from behind as 3 guys jump down in front of me, I struggle against the one holding me but they're holding me off the ground by my arms, "DO IT!" he yelled to the other 3. One of them walks up to me with some sort of gun he pressed it against my neck and shot it, pain, nothingness, shock ran through my body, I collapsed to the ground. The people around me backed up and watched in fear, most ran, "What the hell..." I said weakly barely able to move from the ground. The 4 men were in black tuxs, they each had an "A" on their right shoulders of their suits, they also wore black masks over their eyes. The pain slowly got worse and I struggled even more trying to push myself to get up, I couldn't use my magic, I couldn't move, this was bad. I looked at the one apporching me, "Light Chains..." he shot out his hand and white chains sprang forth, more came from the other men, they slowly started wrapping around me, I felt myself growing more weak as more of the chains shot from their hands. My eyes started to close as I heard metal slashing through the air, ice, I felt heat as well, the chains disapeared and I manged to open my eyes and look over, the 4 men were defeated on the ground and Erza, Natsu, and Gray stood over them, Wendy and Lucy running up with Happy and Carla. "DUSK!" Gray ran over kneeling beside me, "Are you alright?" I nodded a bit, "Those bastards..." Gray gritted his teeth and helped me up, he eneded up just picking me up.

"What do they want with Dusk?" Wendy walked over trying to cast her healing spell.

"Don't...bother...healing spells don't work on me...well...your kinda healing...but...those guys work for Alec..." I said weakly, Gray just glared, he was pissed. They headed to the guild hall, the weakness and numbness was starting to go away but I guess Gray enjoyed carrying me, so I played the damsel. We walked into the guild and everyone lookedover, "Gray I can stand now..." I looked away from the rest of the others and he chuckled and set me down, "Thanks..." I chuckled. Everyone was wondering what had happened so I headed up to the stage and went on the microphone and explained what happened, "Alec is rising again, he is a new threat and if wants to get his hands on me then he will, wheather he sends all his guards or comes himself, he's much to strong for any of us but me sadly, that was only Squad A we faced, I have no doubt Squad Z, his best squad, is out here as well, this is something I know will happene sadly, and when he does, I want you all not to worry, Alec is mine and has always been mine to face, I don't want him hurting any of you..." I looked down and walked off, the guild chattered a bit and it was now quiet. I walked outside, well tried, before I could Gray dragged me back inside, "I'm not letting you go anywhere alone..." he said, the rest of Team Natsu blocked the door.

I sighed, "Fine..." I headed upstairs to watch over the guild and just have some time, time to think about this. Alec is after me...FairyTail could be in trouble if I make a wrong move, he will push through my guild to get to me. Why now...why today...it's been 2 years since I left him, 3 years since I started with him, and 8 years since he destroyed everything...why Alec...why can't you let me go, I put my head in my hands sitting at a table alone upstairs. No Dusk...don't cry...don't do it...hold back...but...it hurt so bad...please...hold on..., I could barely take it, choking back tears, I refuse to let Alec hurt my guild.  I suddenly felt warm around me, someones arms around me and a voice in my ear, "Don't hurt yourself...you can cry...it's ok...I'm the only one here..." calm and warm, I stood up and hugged the person, his broad build surrounded me, his warm voice soothed me, "You'll be fine...I'm right here..."

"But what if I'm not Gray...Alec will get to me...wheather we like it or not..." I looked down as tears fell from my eyes.

"I will do everything I can to protect you...I promise..." he gently kissed my fore head, "Because you're not just my best friend anymore..." I gently nodded and his hand came to my cheek, he used his tumb to wipe my tears, like he always did, "I'll walk you home, we can go out the back..." he pulled my chin up gently to look at him and smiled at me, I nodded and smiled a bit back at him. We quickly made our way to the back of the guild and headed out the back door, we decided to take the through-town route to FairyHills. Apprently, Erza and Lucy had gone back out into town to show little Wendy a clothing store. Gray and I talked while we walked through town, I told him about the visions and everything, as we were in the middle of our conversation, 4 guys jumped down in front of us, they wore masks over their mouths and hoods over their head, they kinda had a ninja/knight costume, imprinted on both their shoulders was the letter....Z. Gray and I both took a fighting stance and the guys chraged in, they were very strong and seemed to target me more then Gray, "IM HERE TO!" he yelled as he fired ice at them, Z squad was Alec's strongest squad, this was going to end bad. I looked over to see Erza, Lucy, and Wendy running toward us but Squad Z had knocked them all to the ground before they could get there, it was me vs them, they shot the light chains toward me, they wrapped around my body so quickly before I could even react. I slowly fell the ground and my eyes started to close, I heard the others screaming my name and trying to get up then everything went black and I felt myself being teleported

His cloak swung down the hallway, his crimson hair drifted behind him in the cold dungeon breeze, he stood in front of a cell and opened it with his hand print, Leonardo followed him. He walked over to an out cold Dusk, chained to the wall, he put his fingers on her chin and gently pulled her head up, he smirked at the sight of her and licked his lips.

"Welcome back My Darling, I've missed you so..."

So I have decided not to do a preview to the next chapter just because the Arc is INSANE, but I'm going to try and get Episode 21 out before I leave, so tomorrow night or even tonight! Depends what I get done and how lazy I am, If not it will either be out Thurday night or Friday night (5/12 or 5/13) ALSO Happy Dragon Cry day! I can't wait to see it and have seen some small spoilers and I'm SOOO Excited! -OCWRITER38 <3
