Battle of FairyTail Arc: Finally Over, Let's Enjoy Fantasia!

Episode 4

"Glad to see you're alright," Gray smiled at me, "You think I would just let you fall again?"

Him saying that brought back memories...but I had no time to think as each member that could stand was facing a ring of the Thunder Palace. We all fired at them but all I could think about was what Gray just said. 'You think I would just let you fall again?'

-------FLASHBACK-------

It's been 2 days since I joined the guild...it's been 3 days since the fall of the Shadow Realm. Everyone seemed to be busy so I just walked out. What was the point? Everyone is gone...I have no one but Dramacon, no one will notice if I just...disapear...

I went to the cliff that over looked the guild, it had a big oak and a rock that was easy to sit on. I looked over the cliff and said softly, "I'm sorry Dramacon, but I have no one to live for, I guess I'll just go with my mother..."

Looking back on this, this was incredibly selfish, I'm the only one who can use shadow seal. The only one who can kill my father when he escapes the shadow realm, he would have destroyed all if....well let's continue

I took a step forward putting my arms out. I stepped off the cliff, wind rushed past and I expected to hit the ground and leave this stupid world, but instead, I stopped midair and felt pressure around my wrist. I looked up to see the little boy the guild called "Gray."

"What the hell are you doing?!" the young boy asked pulling me up.

"Stop! Please! Just let me go!" I replied but he was stronger then me pysically.

"No way," he said pulling me up on the cliff holding me back from jumping again, "You're a member of FairyTail, we're a family, you think no one would care, people notice you even if you don't speak, we care for any member!" he yelled and threw me down on the ground, I sat up and looked at him. He was...crying? I looked at him with sincere eyes coming to my senses.

"You're right..." I said almost breaking down as well, "I'm sorry..."

"Do you wanna talk about anything?" the young ice mage said sitting beside me looking at me with kind eyes and a nice smile. And I spilled...my whole story, I ended up bawling by the end of it. He didn't say anything all I felt was warmth in an embrace, I hugged him back.

Over time Gray and I ended up becoming best friends and he helped me open up to the guild, I became a person instead of having no one to live for, wanting to live for my friends, and then a lightning bolt hit me...

I looked around falling to the ground to see everyone in the guild being shocked by the Thunder Palace but...it was destoryed. I looked up panting to see Natsu and Gajeel fighting Laxus, not winning, but then Makarov stepped in...it was over...

--Time Skip, Hours before Fantasia--

The guild was bustling, I was busy helping Natsu with his bandages because he kept moving, everyone was so excited. If what master tells me, then currently he is "suspending" Laxus from FairyTail at the moment.

"Natsu hold still!" I yelled at him, he imediately calmed down hoping to not get another beating from me like earlier when he kept moving. Gray walked over to me, "How's he doin," he asked putting a hand on my shoulder, Natsu glared at him.

"Fine, he just keeps moving, are you excited to do Fantasia with Juvia, you two will make a good float, water and ice," I smiled.

"Yea, she's excited," he chuckled, "Can't wait to see what you put on this year, Dark Princess," he laughed.

"Not much, I'm still kinda weak from the battle, but I'll do my best," I smiled at him and he walked away to help the others.

_Fantasia_

--Normal POV--

The Fairytail guild members drove by on their floats, waving and entertaining the crowd, then before the guild master a black float with purple accents passed. Dusk wore a dark black dress with a purple spiritual design. She waved at the people and made a giant black FairyTail guild mark in the sky and made it explode raining candy on the children of Magnolia. Then, the master passed by, being as cooky as ever, suddenly the whole guild put their hands up and formed an L with their pointer fingers and thumbs. No one knew what it meant but people cheered anyway as Fantasia came to a close, tears ran down Laxus' face as the memories of his childhood flooded back and he walked away.

Next Time on The Twilight Fairy, The Shadow Lord Arc

"What do you mean, you study my father?!"

"How could this happen...."

"I'm sorry this is all my fault!"

"Don't die on me Dusk! I can't lose you! I'll never let you fall again!"

What will happen, what will Dusk find out, and what great sacrifice will she have to make for the good of the world.
