Dusks POV

Erza, Mira, Gildarts, and I waited backstage as FairyTail crowded around the stage, it was time for Makarov to announce the S-class trialists this year.
"You think they'll be scared seeing you," Erza chuckled.
"Nah..." I crossed my arms leaning on the wall, "Plus...I'm just a greeter on the peaceful route...Makarov told me I could do that instead of sitting and watching this year..."
"You sill don't wanna fight any of our guild members..." Mira said softly
"Not unless I have too...I won't hurt my family..." I looked down and smiled a bit. The others just looked at me and smiled as Makarov signaled us to walk out before he raised the curtain. For some reason, it was hard for me to look at them...the groups that fought Alec with me. I found myself looking down to the side.
All of it seemed to be a blur, Makarov announcing the S-Class trialists, cheers, laughter, I found myself barely able to smile. As soon as it was over I hurried back stage, I just wanted to go home really, I was sore and tired, and even though I was the person awaiting the pair on the peaceful route. I headed toward the back exit of the guildhall, hoping no one saw me, PRAYING no one did.
"Where ya going?"
Fuck...I'm right out the door too.
"You seemed off..." at least it was Gray...
"I'm just still shaken from everything that just happened..." I admitted to him looking at the ground.
"Well then...Pray for me at the trials," he snickered and walked off
I sighed and quickly went home passing out on my bed.
