The Shadow and The Light

Episode 22.5

385 years ago...Zeref created the Dark King, his strongest one yet, he was the backup if END failed, he was perfect, heartless, cold, powerful, and tempermental, the perfect mix for a demon.

Meanwhile...The Light Realm was celebrating their 10 year anniversary with their current queen Estinara Shines, the kingdom was in rush preparing as the queen was in Earthland learning about the forest there. A forbidden forest full of strange creatures that didn't exsist in the Realm of Light, the elegant queen sat down on a log and looked around at the beautiful forest she smiled at it.

The broad figure strided down the woods, his cloak up, swaying behind him, his aura was dark as night and dark as could be, he looked up sensing a strange pressense and saw his opposite, a beautiful woman with long white hair with blue accents with the prettiest sky blue eyes, she was fair skinned and words couldn't desribe her beauty. The man seemed shocked and his hood well in the breeze, he has scars everywhere, kinda long black hair and light grey eyes, he was more pale than the female that was for sure. Her aura was different and full of light...he wasn't used to it, the female looked over as she was holding a dandelion, her eyes widened as she saw the man staring at her.

"May I help you?" the woman said, her voice was angelic, sweet and kind.

"Um...no...sorry...I just saw you and...your aura...it's so..." the man scratched the back of his head, the demon has never experienced this before.

"Light?" she giggled covering her mouth politely.

"Yes..." he looked down.

"Well yours is very...dark...shadow...you're a demon aren't you?" she seemed un-afraid unlike others who could sense his aura, this intrigued the man and they continued talking. They learned eachothers names, Estinara and Midnightus, Nightus told her about Zeref and him being a demon, she always told him if he needed to go he could but he always stayed. Back then Zeref was kind and soft to his demons and he let Midnightus off easy all the time because he favored him, this made another demon of his angry, Alecarta. Alecarta was a firey hot-headed demon that had followed Midnightus in creation, he was power crazy and insane, in fact one of his demon names was "The Lord of the Sadist," well fitting. He didn't like their relationship but he worshiped his creator, Zeref that he followed him. Midnightus and Estinara fell in love, she found herself taking more trips to Earthland to see him, meanwhile Alecarta learned a twice-use spell from Zeref called "Shadow Virus" Zeref thought if he could destroy Midnightus' power he could take his place, so thats what he worked toward. One day, Nightus came up to Zeref and asked him a question, to be free of him book, Nightus had already learned to create minions for himself, in fact he had made himself a powerful knight called Dramacon that was imortal just like him, but in a different way, if he was "killed" he would be "dead" for only a certain number of years and not forever gone. Nightus wanted to be a free demon, so his book would just be a book and would just end, no one could disrupt him from his book, Zeref accepted and freed Nightus, he thanked the wizard and went off on his own. Back with Dramacons guidance, Nightus forged a ring of a certain gem he created, Twilight diamond, it shone in dawn and dusk only as well as on a full moon, after the rings were finished he put them aside. Months later Nightus and Estinara wed in the Realm of Light, the day he became king, everything changed. People started being born with shadow magic as well as light magic as they had before, the people born with shadow magic had no shadow and seemed to be a little more distance, but the people born of light brought the best of them. They ruled over the new Shadow Realm kindly and perfectly, in perfect harmony...

You're probably wondering why they didn't call it the Twilight Realm, well, I forgot to mention but the people born with light magic also lost their shadows so they decided to call it the Shadow Realm since people didn't have shadows, also their magic came from the shadows, from no where, everyone there was born with magic, and if you weren't then within 5 years the shadow realm killed you.

Hundreds of years later, almost 200, they had a child, they were born kindly and they were quite happy but...they were born without magic...they were going to have to learn magic, the king and queen were heart broken they would have to send their child away but...a year later they had another. A happy little girl with black hair and grey eyes, she resembled her father with his looks and personality but she also had her mothers compassion and parts of her personality, the 2 children lived happily for 4 years (3 for the younger) and then they had to send the other away, the younger was heartbroken, and Nightus made it worse in a way a few months after they left (find out more in Episode 24). That child grew up to be a strong wizard, the strongest in FairyTail, maybe the world, she had gone through every suffering possible mentally and pyhsically, but she was strong now, her name is Dusk...The Twilight Princess

OHHH NEW INFO! Yes Dusk has an older sibling that I didn't go into on purpose, hehehe find out episode 24 more, you know Dusks story how the shadow realm fell and her past suffering, I hope you all enjoyed this mini chapter, I'll try to have episode 23 out soon! <3 -OCW38
