I laid on my hotel bed just listening to my heart beat, it was quiet in the city at night, and lonely. I looked up at the ceiling, I traced the air with my finger, I only had one thought on my mind.

"Gray..."

What?! No...That isn't right...I just wanna get my friends out.

"Gray..."

Why...Why can't I get him off my mind...his voice...his warmth...his body...how badly I want him...wait...GAH! I can't be having these thoughts...he's my best friend...This isn't right...

"Cmon princess, you want to, you want him, remember the first time he finally had matured and you saw him naked? His stripping habit is quite lovely for you, how you pine for him late at night, ocean water dripping from his hair and body from the late night swims..."

STOP! I can't...Gray is my best friend...but I...I...I love him....

It was finally the next day, my wild fantasies had stopped and I had been able to fall asleep. I walked through town, it seemed people were heading to the lacrima, so I followed. There was a huge crowd in front of it, I decided to pull my hood further over my head and make my way as close as possible. I looked up to see the king, he struck the lacrima and pieces of it fell, my fists clenched and my teeth gritted. I stormed off breaking through the crowd, I seemed mad but behind my hood tears were falling down my cheeks and dripping to the ground. I slowed down and took deep breathes, struggling to keep my composure. This can't be happening...this can't...I've already lost my family and my realm, I refuse to lose another!

I wandered around the courtyard where the lacrima was, people cheering after hearing the magic extraction was today. If only the people knew...they were taking innocent lives. I jumped up on a one of the roofs that surrounded the lacrima and looked at it, studying it. I jumped down from no where and opps, got a little to close to the lacrima, the guards looked over at me, "STOP! Step away from the lacrima!" they yelled at me, I looked at them and put my hands up as a 'sorry' and stepped back. I heard a voice suddenly behind me, "Might I ask your interest in the lacrima?" I turned to see Edolas Gajeel, I looked up and he saw my eyes and grinned. He led me away from the crowd to Earthland Gajeel and explained their plan to me. "We're gonna smash the lacrima? Hell yeah!" EA Gajeel covered my mouth, "Not so loud idiot..." he said coldly, I nodded. "Got it, I'll take the roof," I smiled and ran off jumping onto the roof top again crouching down. I watched as the Gajeels got into position, Edolas Gajeel doing his reporter thing, getting info for our best choice of action. I watched, waiting for EA Gajeel to spring, when he started attacking that's all I needed to know. The people cheered for this crap, it was awful, I watched as it lit up, watching the Gajeels to make their move. I kept my hood up staying in the shadows, then I saw the letter N, then more showed, NORTH, thats it, now just for Gajeel to begin his strike, heh. When the crowd started moving back Gajeel charged into the lacrima, I jumped down throwing my cloak off and joined Gajeel in his strike on the lacrima. "You all were fools for messing with FairyTail!" I struck down on the lacrima with Gajeel and it suddenly started to glow bright, we jumped back watching it in shock. I sheilded my eyes as the light glowed so bright it covered everything, "What the..." I muttered and looked up as the light faded. 2 figures slowly stood up, I grinned as I saw them, Gray and Erza...the soldiers charged into to stop us, I blew them back easily as Gajeel escorted them off quickly, "MAN HAVE I WAITED FOR THIS!" I said blowing back more soldiers. They seemed to fear my power, which is natural, I was about to charge in on more then I heard Gajeel, I ran off the direction they went. I ducked into an alley where they were waiting, my firt instict was to hug Erza then Gray.

"You guys are safe!" I said excited and happy, releasing all the stress thats been varied up.

"Yea, now can you explain whats going on," Gray said chuckling hugging me back.

"Of course," I said stepping back, the Gajeels explained and gave them the magic orbs to allow them to use their magic. I looked over toward the castle sensing something, Natsu, Wendy, Lucy, Happy, Carla...there. I turned toward Gray and Erza and told them we had to go to the west toward and ran off, pulling my cloak up, Gray and Erza ran after me confused, "Dusk what is this about?!" Erza called.

"It's them I can sense it! Natsu, Lucy, Wendy, Happy, and Carla! Cmon they're in trouble!" I ran as fast as I could, luckily they kept up well. We SMASHED through guards, I was so pissed about this whole thing that I just knocked down everyone we passed like dominos. We stormed into the west tower and ran toward the sense, we heard Lucy, Happy, and Carla, and...Erza? Must be Edolas Erza. I looked forward and saw "Erza" about to strike down on Lucy, I cast out my hand and struck her and the guards back. I smirked and went for the guards, Erza went after Erza and Gray went to Lucy, Happy, and Carla helping them back away. "I got the guards! Go for Wendy and Natsu! I'll join you in a sec! Erza do you got that version of you?!" I yelled, our Erza nodded and Gray and them ran off toward the screams of Natsu and Wendy. Be careful Gray...I'll be there soon, was all I could think, I easily took care of the guards and ran after them.

-------- Gray's POV from when they started running -------

I don't think Dusk realized her long skirt didnt do her justice when running, fuck, god damn. Why did she have to so perfect, in her tight skirt and sports bra/top thing, it complimented her curves perfectly. Why did she have to be so perfect, the was she strided down the hallway toward her senses, her hips swaying with her confident stride, damn. WAIT, I can't be having these thoughts...no, this isn't right...she's my best friend. Images flashed in my mind, her body under mine, her soft lips against mine, STOP, stop these thoughts Gray. But...

It feels like a sin to want her so bad...
