Aiden Deis: My Subset of Reality

8:30 Got out of bed and started feeling guilty over the fact that I have yet to start writing my... our debate. I know this whole debate thing has got Mary Jane's head in a flat spin. Honestly, I think I might have sliced myself to big a piece of this pie.

10:20ish Neil texted me. I called Neil. We talked for a good 30 minutes, then he told me that he and Mom (as in the original) were going to the casino... I shrugged it of like it didn't catch me off-guard. It did. I weighed all the obvious implications and the only real objection my mind provided me was the fact that they would (and this I was not told, but could logically deduce) be leaving Lara at home, while they went out for a night of fun...

11:00ish For a couple of weeks now- I have wanted to let Lara read this "Project". Honestly I couldn't tell you why. Possibly (and likely) because having someone actually reading what I write might serve as reason for me to write. Also, the fact that- if all goes to plan- she will be moving here in June-July of 2012. I don't know how good (or reliable) my descriptions of the events and people that I now come into contact with on a daily basis is, but I like the thought that it might give her a preview of what to expect.

I called Lara with the idea of finally telling her to read this, I really didn't know how to describe to her what it was, but it really wasn't necessary. "So it's like a diary?" she asked. And as much as it killed me pathetically suborn male ego, there was nothing I could reply other than "Ye...Yes."

I tried to quickly run through what I've written, just to make sure (as this was my final opportunity to do so) there wasn't anything I didn't want her to read... but a just decided WTF! Besides... 'censoring' anything that I've written would compromise everything that I'm hoping to achieve by doing this.

11:30 I started seriously reading up on my debate topic. Resolved: the United Sates Federal government should substantially increase the development/exploration of space beyond Earth's Mesosphere.

12:40 !!!!B!!!!!!!I!!!!!!!N!!!!!!!G!!!!!!!!!O!!!!!!!!!! Two of the affirmative arguments that I've been considering can be combined into one, in doing so:

I will superbly screw with my opponents heads!Combining them eliminates a lot of the weaknesses each of them pose individually.This is not like combining a cat and a fish and getting a cat-fish. This is combining a hamster and a dog and getting an elephant! The resulting argument should be a creature of its own kind! And should allow me to use positives posed by both arguments, yet not be threatened by the weaknesses of either!!!

13:00ish Ate "man-whitches" at Kari and Dad's.

13:15 Dad drove me into town for a 'LAN party' at Zack's house. The party consisted of me, Bert (from computer science) Zack (just from school) and Cory (Zack's brother)

19:30 Got home. Put a frozen pizza in the oven. Watched 3 episodes of 'The Big Bang Theory" While eating 5/8 of the pizza. Shouldn't have done that.

23:43 I can't explain the time gap between 19:30 and now, but I'm to tired to think about it right now.
