"Miss Perry your results from our tests are through and I'm pleased to say that apart from a mild concussion you are absolutely fine," the doctor informed Katy later that day.

"That's great!" Katy grinned. "Can I go now?" The doctor chuckled at Katy's response but shook his head.

"No, not yet. Sorry Miss Perry. We would like to keep you here overnight under observation, just to be on the safe side." The doctor explained. Katy signed defeatedly, knowing there was no point arguing but not really caring.

"But what about my daughter?" She demanded. "She doesn't have anyone!"

"Actually Miss Perry we have spoken to Social Services and she will be staying at the Care home with her adopted siblings until you are discharged," the doctor said.

"Okay," Katy grumbled. "Where is she anyway?"

"Oh she's with her adopted Mum, I'll go and tell her that the Social Worker will be picking her up in half an hour." The doctor said and left to find Destiny.

"Mum? It's me, Destiny... I don't know if you can here me, but I just-...." Destiny stopped as she collapsed on her Mum, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Please wake up. I want to go home. I miss you, and Dad. I'm not allowed to see him, they won't tell me why... I miss Blaze, Candy, London and Ocean too. Please just wake up..."

"Destiny?" A voice said from behind her. Destiny looked round and saw Katy's doctor.

"Yes... How's Katy?" She said nervously.

"She's fine. We're keeping her in overnight for observation though. Your Social Worker will be here soon to take you to the Care Home," he informed her. Destiny nodded slowly, letting the new information sink in.

"Okay, I'll just go and say bye to Katy..." She said quietly. Then she turned back to her Mum and gave her a quick hug. "Bye Mum, see you soon..."

Destiny slowly walked to Katy's private room. Once she got there she stood awkwardly in the doorway. Katy looked up at her and smiled warmly at her.

"Hey Little Kitten," she said softly.

"Hi Katy... I just came to say bye. Mandy will be her soon to take me to the Care Home," Destiny told Katy. Katy nodded, but searched her daughter's face closely.

"Everything alright?" She checked. "Aren't you looking forward to seeing your...err..." Katy stopped, not knowing what to say. Strictly speaking Blaze, Candy, London and Ocean weren't her siblings. They were just...people.

"My siblings? Yeah, I am. Everything's fine, don't worry..." Destiny said quickly, and a little defensively. Katy nodded, feeling a little hurt at Destiny's abruptness. For a minute she had really believed that she was getting through to that girl. Maybe she was wrong after all...

Destiny shoved open the heavy door to the Care Home and slipped silently inside. Mandy was still by the car, getting her clothes. A tall man with short grey hair was waiting for her.

"Hiya, I'm Kevin. I'm the Head Care Worker here at Willow Creek," he said brightly to her. Destiny just nodded, shuffling around on the stop uncomfortably. "You're Destiny, right?"

"Yes Mr Michael she is," Mandy said from behind Destiny. Kevin nodded, still keeping his bright smile plastered on his face.

"Good. Well Destiny, while we short out the paperwork why don't we ask...." He trailed off, looking for someone. "Asha to take you to your room," he said and pointed to a young boy of a black race who was wandering down stairs.

"Huh?" He said, a little surprised. "Nah Kev you're havin' a laugh, I got footy practice!" He said. Destiny winced, she hated slang.

"Asha that wasn't a question, I was a request. Go on, maybe you'll learn to be friends!" Kevin said optimisticly. Destiny stayed silently and Asha rolled his eyes.
