Destiny ran down the stairs, leaving Miss Chelsea to look after her sisters. She knew that Blaze was her main priority at that moment.
She looked everywhere! Searching the kitchen, the living room, the dinning room and even the garden. She thanked God when he wasn't out there, it was freezing cold. She whispered loudly, praying for an answer, but she was now beginning to give up hope. Rushing upstairs again, she began to look there. He could be there, couldn't he?
Destiny was tip toeing past her parents room, when the unthinkable happened. Her phone went off! Destiny then did the most stupid thing possible. She froze.
As predicted, the door swung open. It revealed both of her angry parents, both of them glaring into her very soul.
"Destiny," Carline growled. "You're breaking and entering." Destiny just looked back at Carline in fear.
"That's illegal," Simon added grimly.
"Where's Blaze?" Destiny asked, gritting her teeth. Her parents looked at her in shock. "I said, where's Blaze?" She repeated, yelling this time.
"DESSY!" A voice screamed. Destiny struggled to see around her parents, knowing that voice anywhere.
"BLAZE?" She yelled back. Her little brother can into view, trying his best to scramble around his parents.
"You came back! You came back," he cheered and let himself start to sob.
"I came back," Destiny said softly. She reached out her hand to grab him, but it was slapped away.
"He's not for you, Destiny. He belongs to us," Carline said. "And so do you!"
"I DON'T AND NEITHER DOES HE! We're children, not possessions!" Destiny insisted. Her parents opened their mouths to retaliate, it was that moment when Destiny darted forwards and grabbed Blaze. Pulling him free of her fathers tight grip.
"RUN! To my room!" Destiny said, urging him on. They dashed into the room, slamming it shut. Only pausing to catch their breath. "Quick, quick! We have to go, now!"
"How?" Miss Chelsea asked. "They're too little to climb out there!"
"You will have to have two on your back and I will too," Destiny said worriedly. "You can take the twins."
"No, you can take the twins. I'll take the older ones," Destiny only managed to give her a weak thanks before grabbing the twins and rushing to the window.
She had kicked some of her things infront of the door, but she knew it wouldn't hold long. Swinging London and Ocean onto her back, she watched Miss Chelsea disappear out the window with Blaze and Candy. Once they were out of sight, it was her turn...
Destiny began climbing down the same way that she had climbed up - although this time she had two passengers - it was just as scary, if not more so, the second time around. It didn't help that she didn't trust the twins to hold on properly, they were only little after all!
"Dessy, I scared!" Ocean cried, loud sobs escaping through her lips - although the sound was muffled due to her thumb being in her mouth.
"Dessy, me too!" London agreed, her speech also muffled by her thumb.
"Girls," Destiny said through gritted teeth. "I pinkie promise you that you will be fine, if you take your thumbs out of your mouths and hold on tightly!" Her voice got louder as she spoke, her panic showing through.
After what seemed like an eternity, Destiny reached the ground. The group then sprinted back to Miss Chelsea's car and began to speed away.
It was a cramped fit in the car. It was a five seater car, but there were six of them. The twins were sharing a seatbelt between them.
"Okay, this is not usually allowed. It is very dangerous to be driving like this, do you guys understand? I never ever want you to do this," Destiny instructed her siblings.
"Then why are we doing it, Dessy?" Asked Candy softly, looking up at her sister.
"Because we're desperate, and I'm with you. I'm not going to let anything happen, don't worry." Destiny soothed.
Miss Chelsea spared a quick glance at Destiny, letting a smile creep across her features. It was cute how much the children adored and looked up to Destiny. Destiny noticed her looking at raised an eyebrow questioningly at her.
"What?" She asked, smirking.
"You," Miss Chelsea shrugged. "You're like a little mother to them."
"I'm all they have," Destiny answered softly.
"You're going to make a great mum one day," Miss Chelsea chuckled.
"Me? No. No, no, no, no! I do not want to be a mum! Ever." Destiny said, pulling a disgusted face. "I'm already a mum of four, I've done my job now. I just did it a little early, that's all." Destiny said, looking straight ahead now. "I could never be a mum really..."
Miss Chelsea sensed that Destiny wanted to drop the subject now, so she let silence fall upon the car. It didn't last long though - it had often been said that Miss Chelsea could talk for Britain - a though had just crossed her mind.
"Where did you find Blaze?" She asked. "And how did your parents wake up?"
"It turns out he was in my parents room," Destiny explained. "They woke up when my phone went off. Then Blaze heard me and called out to me."
"Who was it?" Miss Chelsea asked curiously.
"I don't know," Destiny mused. "I never looked..." She unlocked her phone then, looking at it in shock. Reading the text quickly, her head shot up. "Turn around!" She cried. "Turn around, we're going the wrong way!"
"No we're not, I live this way! I'm not going to get lost going to my own-" Miss Chelsea said, but Destiny cut her off.
"We're not going to your house!" Destiny cried. "We're going to Katy's hotel!" Then she reached forward and typed in the address into the sat nav.
Miss Chelsea turned around without further question, but Destiny was no longer paying attention. She was just reading the text, over and over again. She had got a second chance!
Destiny, I'm so sorry I left you! I just needed you to see that you hurt me. Please don't get hurt at your parents house, I can't bare the thought of anything happening to you! Bring your siblings here, I'll help you keep them safe. I pinkie promise you. Can you forgive me for leaving?
Destiny let out a laugh of relief. She knew that she didn't deserve Katy, not at all. But it looked like she had her anyway...
