Thank you to lali2mosh for giving me the idea for some of this chapter :) Now guys this chapter came sooner than expected but I guess that's just the way it has to be I suppose. But don't worry, I'll still be here for you. I've published a new "story" called To Be Depressed and that's for anyone who's interested in the subjects I've addressed in this story; although it's mainly for people to know that they're not alone and there are people who get it. I believe in every single one of you, remember that

The next morning, Katy's parents were furious to find Angela and David missing from their room. Immediately they stormed over to Katy's room. They were more than a little surprised to see the door already open.

On the massive double bed lay Katy, Shannon, Angela and David all asleep together in a bundle. However, there was no Destiny in sight.

"I felt miserable when someone came along and messed my life and my family up," a voice said softly. Keith and Mary looked up towards the voice, spotting a timid Destiny peaking out from behind the bathroom door. "I don't want to do that to you..."

"Are you talking about Katy?" Mary asked in shock. "Katy messed up your life?

"Not on purpose," Destiny said hurriedly. "It's complicated..."

"Maybe you would like to explain," Keith said. Destiny clearly didn't have a choice but to comply.

She went out to them in the corridor, making sure to keep her distance, before she began telling her 'grand parents' her whole story. By the time she was finished they were almost in tears. They hadn't realized why Katy had found Destiny, or really taken the time to talk to Destiny herself. A silence fell on them once Destiny was finished.

"I told you it was complicated..." Destiny mumbled softly, shifting from foot to foot.

"You've been through a lot, dear." Mary said sympathetically. "God's certainly got a soft spot for you though."

"He has?" Destiny asked, very confused.

"You're still here, aren't you?" Mary pointed out. "After everything you went though, you're still standing."

"He seems to like you a lot...for a sin," Keith added gruffly. Destiny winced at the word 'sin'. She opened her mouth to ask what he meant by that, but was cut off.

"Hey!" A voice from inside the room barked. "What are you doing with her!" Katy was sitting up in bed, anger evident on her face. "I don't want you anywhere near her!" Keith and Mary both opened their mouths to answer, but Destiny interrupted them.

"It's okay," she whispered. "It's like I said to them before, I hated it when someone came along and disrupted my life. I don't want to be that person. Just because it worked out for us, doesn't mean it will for them..."

"What do you mean?" Katy asked, her voice quivering slightly.

"I don't hate you anymore, Katy." Destiny whispered, looking Katy in the eye for the first time. "But you're parents think I'm a sin, they'll always think that. There's nothing you can do. You have a happy family, something I've always dreamed of, I would never take that away from anybody. Especially you..."

Everyone else had woken up now and were listening. Katy had got up and was walking towards Destiny slowly. Tears were streaming down Katy's face as she listened to her daughter.

"C-c-come on," she breathed. "L-lets take a w-walk..."

Katy and Destiny walked for what felt like forever. It was silent, but not uncomfortable. In fact, Destiny had never felt more comfortable with anybody in her life. Katy was her safe place, she now realized. Her place where the demons could quite reach her...

Finally, they reached a field. It was full of daisies and wildflowers. The grass was long and untrainable. There wasn't another person in sight.

"Here," Katy whispered almost silently. "Sit with me." Then she sat down on the grass, leaning on her elbows and letting her head flop back. Destiny obediently sat beside her. "I need you to understand something for me, okay? I am an adult, my parents can't control me anymore."

Destiny nodded at Katy's words, but didn't make eye contact. Her fingers twisted around a daisy to distract herself from the situation. She felt like she knew what Katy was going to say. This was goodbye...

"You're not breaking up my family, honey. They are." Katy said, lifting up Destiny's chin with her finger. Destiny's head snapped up and she stared at Katy in shock.

"But they're your parents!" She exclaimed. "You love them, and they love you!"

"Yes, but I also love you. Darling, you're my daughter. I never wanted to give you up in the first place. Never ever." Katy insisted, and then she began telling Destiny the whole story. The surprise pregnancy, her parents religion, the fact it was a sin and lastly, Destiny being ripped out of her arms and shipped away to England.

"I thought-" Destiny began, choking as tears filled her eyes. " I thought you just didn't want me..."

"No, Destiny, I've always wanted you. You're my daughter, nothing could ever make me not want you. I love you. Pinkie promise," Katy whispered. She pulled Destiny into her arms and lay them both down.

The sun was beginning to rise properly now was they lay there. Destiny hid her face in Katy's hair, breathing in the smell. It was at that moment that she felt something for the first time. Love. She loved Katy; she loved her mum.

"I love you too," she breathed quietly. Uttering those words for the first time to anyone. "I love my mum... Pinkie promise."

The end.
