After four films, a meal and plenty of popcorn, Shannon finally handed Katy back her phone.

"Here you are Kate," she laughed. "I can't believe you lasted so long without it!"

"Finally!" Kate cried, grabbing her phone and quickly switching it on. "I am so glad to have it back! I hate for that Shan, you know that?" She joked, playfully hitting her. Shannon just smirked and turned back to the film they were currently watching. They were watching Grease together, stupidly singing along. They were so bad that it actually made Katy wonder how she had actually made it as a singer! Shannon was distracted by Katy suddenly gasping. Horror filling her voice, causing Shannon to tear her gaze away from the film.

"What now drama-queen? Did you miss an appointment, or something?" Shannon teased, glancing over at Katy. Her smirk was soon slapped off her face by Katy's own expression. The look on Katy's face told her that something was very wrong. "Katy? Katy, what's wrong?" Shannon demanded, suddenly feeling scared. Katy ignored her and got up, grabbing her coat and pulling on her shoes as she walked towards the door. "KATY!" Shannon snapped again, but with more force this time. "Talk to me!"

"Destiny," Katy cried before letting out a smallsob. "She's meant to be here, right now. She flew over hours ago. She wanted me to pick her up, but I couldn't because you had my stupid phone!" Katy's voice had started at a whispered, but she was yelling now. Shannon didn't know what to say. There was nothing she could say! "She said she would try and walk home, but anything could have happened to her! Why did I let you take my phone? Why did I have to be so stupid?"

"Katy, calm down!" Shannon begged. "We'll find her, I know we will! This isn't your fault, okay? You couldn't have possibly known!"

"No," Katy said slowly. "It's YOUR FAULT!" She was screaming at Shannon, anger filling her entire body. Shannon winced at that, tears pricing her eyes.

"Katy, I'm sorry. I-I didn't know. How could I have known? I promise you, I will do everything in my power to find her. We-we just need to have hope, okay? Hope..." Shannon said, her voice quivering as she tried to remain calm.

"Hope," Katy repeated softly. Then her voice turned to a whisper, she was speaking more to herself than to Shannon. "Destiny's last name..."

Soon Shannon and Katy were out looking. They looked around the whole area, desperately trying to find Destiny. All their friends were out looking for her too, although they weren't told that she was Katy's daughter. That would remain a secret from almost everybody. Angela had even begun to put up posters with some people, saying:

Have You Seen This Girl?
Goes by the name of Destiny Hope Baker.
Age 15.
Blondie-brown hair, blue eyes, British accent.
Please ring this number if found!!!

Shannon's number had been put on the poster as putting Katy's on wasn't a very good idea since she was a world famous Pop Star!

After hours of looking, Shannon made Katy go home. Katy wasn't happy about this, but was to tired to care. She curled up on her sofa and turned the television on. The news came on, she couldn't help but watch it hopefully. Maybe something, anything, would give her a clue to where her little girl might be! The news reporter chatted about sport and other boring news, that didn't interest Katy in the slightest, before actually gaining her attention.

"A teacher from England has reported a missing girl, that was apparently looking for her 'real Mother'. The girl was supposed to check in with her teacher after landing in LAX airport, but failed to. Nobody has been able to contact her since she left England. She has been reported missing in both countries, here and in England. Another woman has also reported a girl missing, matching the same description, saying that the girl was visiting from England but wasn't waiting to be picked up. Thoughts are that this is the same girl. If found, please phone one of these numbers..."

Katy blinked back tears. Shannon had reported Destiny earlier, but it seemed like she wasn't the only one...

"Oh Destiny," Katy whispered. "Where are you?"

As Katy was saying this, a young girl was wondering around the streets of LA, wondering a very similar thing...
