Footsteps. Right behind her. Getting closer and closer with every passing second. Running didn't help, the simply follow. Getting louder and louder. Then louder still!

"HELP ME!" A voice screamed. Suddenly the voice was recognisable. It was Destiny's own voice. The group came hurtling towards her. It was picking up speed. About it hit her in the face, when-

"Destiny!" A voice cried, yanking her awake. "Destiny, wake up!" Katy cried again, reaching out to her daughter. Destiny's body seemed to be made of fire at that moment, she was clearly burning up.

"Mamma," she screamed. Panic was dripping from her voice. Katy froze, suddenly unable to think, speak, or even breath. Had Destiny, for the first time in her life, actually meant her? "I want my Mummy!" She sobbed again, only half concious.

"No," Katy thought miserably. "It's never me..."

"Katy!" Destiny screamed, thrashing around wildly. Katy snapped into action, wincing at Destiny's loud voice crying out.

"Hey, you're alright Baby! I've got you," she cooed. Then she covered Destiny's ears and screamed at the top of her voice. "SHANNON! SHANNON! GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE, NOW!" Shannon is quick to sprint into Katy's room, a look of concern mixed with fury on her face.

"Seriously, Girl! I was sleeping!" she cried, scowling. That was until she spotted Destiny. "Katy, that girl needs a doctor," she stated.

"I know!" Katy gasped, exasperated. "I didn't exactly call you in for no reason, did I?"

"Whoa Kate, calm the  sarcasm! Look, I'm calling the doctor now!" Shannon said, grabbing her phone. Katy had no clue how she already had the number for a doctor, since they hadn't been in the UK for very long, but she didn't question it. Shannon hung up after a quick conversation. "He'll be here in five, I'll go and get Angela..."

"Mummy, Mummy don't let them take me!" Destiny sobbed suddenly, thrashing around wildly. "MUMMY!" Then, to Katys surprise, she made grabbing gestures towards Katy! Mu-mmy!"

"I'm right here, Baby. Mummy's right here," she soothed and grabbed Destiny. She quickly bundled her up into her arms. Happiness flooded through her, despite her worry. Destiny just called her 'Mummy'! She knew that Destiny was barely concious and probably didn't mean it, or even remember it tomorrow. But it felt good for today...

"Kate?" Angela said from the doorway. "Did she just call you-" She was cut off by another scream from Destiny.

"Mamma!" She screamed and hid her face against Katy. It was almost as if she was a,tiny child again.

"Yeah," Katy said as she rocked Destiny. "Yeah, she did..."

The doctor arrived after what seemed like forever. After checking Destiny over he decided that she had Scarlett Fever, which was currently happening a lot around that area. He prescribed them some medicine, which Angela went straight out to get, and declared that Destiny could leave her bed until she was better. She would also be very sick and not completely concious, but not unconscious either. It was a horrible sickness to catch, but she should get better soon. After thanking the doctor, Katy went back to just holding her daughter. Shannon showed the doctor out, leaving them alone.

"My daughter," Katy breathed quietly. "And only my daughter..." A little niggling feeling deep down inside Katy, pointed out that she wasn't being completely honest. But that could wait. Hopefully it would wait forever...

Angela came back swiftly and handed Katy the medicine. Katy frowned, wondering how she was going to get Destiny to swallow the sticky liquid.

"Little Kitten? Open up," she said encouragingly. She got no reponse at all. "Little Kitten?" This went on for a while, Katy speaking to Destiny and Destiny ignoring her, before Shannon got fed up.

"Give it here," she snapped and took the bottle and spoon. She put the spoon full of liquid close to Destiny's mouth, tipped her head up, opened her mouth, and poured it in. Then she quickly closed Destiny's mouth and covered it with her hand to stop her from spitting it back out.

"Hey!" Katy yelled angrily. "You're suffocating her!"

"Don't be so overprotective!" Shannon retorted, rolling her eyes. "I got her to take it, and she's absolutely fine! Aside from the fact that she's ill, obviously..."

"She really is very unlucky," Angela nodded. They both turned to Katy, expecting a response. But all they saw was Katy and Destiny cuddled up in each others arms, their limbs tangled up and Katys head resting on Destiny's.

"Well that's just too cute," Shannon chuckled and quickly snapped a picture.
