Fear filled Katy's eyes as she dragged them back towards the bathroom door. Was this all her fault? Had she done this to Destiny, her own daughter? How could she have been so cruel? Tears were spilling down her cheeks now and she pounded on the door.

"Destiny, please! I'm really sorry! Just open up, we can talk about this!" She sobbed, choking on her tears.

"Katy," Cher whispered softly. "Maybe you should let someone else try?"

"BUT I'M HER MOTHER," Katy screamed back.

"I know," Cher soothed. "It might help though. Isn't that the most important thing right now?" Katy slipped away from the door, leaving a small gap. It was clearly waiting to be filled. "Miss Chelsea? How about you try?" Cher suggested.

"Me? Why me?" Miss Chelsea asked nervously. "I'm just her teacher!"

"From what I can see, you're so much more than that to her..." Cher said gently.

"I-I can't, it's not my place." She cried, shaking her head.

"No," Katy growled darkly. "That's my daughter in there, and if you can help her you will. Right now! Do you understand me!?!" Her voice escalated the more she spoke, scaring Miss Chelsea a little bit. Miss Chelsea nodded and crawled towards the door, meaning that she was now sitting right next to Katy.

"Baker?" She called out softly. "Petal, can you please let me in?" Katy winced at Miss Chelsea's use of the word 'Baker', but reluctantly let it go. "I just want to talk..."

For a while there was no answer. In fact, they were just about to give up hope and bang the door down. Then Destiny's vulnerable voice cut through the air.

"J-just you, n-n-no one else?" She asked cautiously.

"Just me," Miss Chelsea confirmed. She didn't dare to even glance at Katy as she spoke. "I promise..." The door opened a crack and Miss Chelsea slipped inside. The sight infront of her was enough to make her feel physically sick. Her razor was laying in pieces on the floor, but the blade within it was currently between Destiny's blood-covered fingers. Blood surrounded the young girl, flowing strongly down her arms and covering her entire body.

"Hey," Destiny whispered weakly. Miss Chelsea laughed fearfully, not quite grasping the situation. "I guess you know the real me now..."

"Oh Destiny," Miss Chelsea signed. "Why didn't you just tell me? I could have helped you!"

"Nobody can help me, Miss... You would simply loose your own mind trying to fix mine," Destiny replied.

"Lets just clean you up," Miss Chelsea muttered. She turned on the tap and wet a flannel quickly, holding it to Destiny's cuts. Tears were pricking her eyes but she refused to let them fall.

"Are you going to cry, Miss?" Destiny asked, looking up inquisitively at her teacher.

"No," Miss Chelsea said sternly. "I never cry."

"You must do," Destiny argued.

"Only when I'm alone in my bedroom with the door locked," Miss Chelsea said. Destiny made an 'aww' noise and smiled up at her.

"That's what I do too," she said. "When I'm at home... Never let them see you cry, right?"

"Right," Miss Chelsea nodded. "Now, do you want to explain to me why you led Katy on like that?" Destiny shook her head stubbornly. "Destiny," Miss Chelsea said strictly and gave her a stern look. "She deserves to know!"

"Please don't leave!" Destiny suddenly burst out, reaching out and clutching onto her teacher. "I'll do anything! I need you to stay, you're classroom's the only place I feel safe!" Miss Chelsea looked at Destiny in astonishment for a moment. Then, against her better judgement, she pulled Destiny into her arms.

"Aren't you safe with Katy?" She asked softly.

"Yes, but that's selfish. I can't stay with Katy, I can't be selfish!" Destiny sobbed, now hiding her face in Miss Chelsea's chest.

"It's not selfish, Petal. Why would you even think that?" Miss Chelsea soothed gently.

"Because I can't be safe when my siblings aren't. That's why I need Katy, to take my siblings somewhere safe. I'm going to stay instead of them... It's the only way to keep them safe!" Destiny stuttered through her tears.

"Oh Darling, you were going to put yourself at risk so that they would be safe? Didn't you notice how that wouldn't work? Your siblings are their children by blood! Nobody can just take them away..." Miss Chelsea explained.

"They don't even want their own children! They just need me as their slave! Blaze, Candy, London and Ocean are probably being hurt right now because I was stupid at left them! I was scared, I didn't know what to do! I felt alone and the nearest safe place was you. But soon, I won't even have that." Destiny cried. Miss Chelsea was now soaked in tears. "I do want Katy, but my siblings have to come first. They don't deserve any of this. I thought that I'd at least have you. They don't have anyone at all...

"Maybe you should explain all this to Katy," Miss Chelsea said softly. "Right now she doesn't understand." Destiny nodded and let Miss Chelsea open the door. Katy glanced up briefly, to see that Destiny was alright, before standing up.

"Thank you for your time, Miss Chelsea. I think it's time that me and Cher left. I have a show to do this evening," she said abruptly. She then pulled a confused Cher easily to her feet. "Goodbye."

"What about me?" Destiny whispered weakly. Katy ignored her and turned away, walking toward the door with an anxious Cher following her.

"Katy," Miss Chelsea began, glancing from Katy to Destiny and back again. "What about-" She was sharply cut of by Katy.

"I'm sorry, I'm running late. I'm sure I'll speak to you soon," she said dangerously.

"Please," Destiny whispered. "Not again... I thought I was allowed to explain now!" Katy paused as Destiny spoke, her hand hovering over the door handle. But then she took it, opened the door and left. "Wait, please don't turn your back on me!" Destiny cried, her voice miraculously gaining more volume. The door slammed violently shut anyway, leaving Destiny and Miss Chelsea alone together. "I need you..." Destiny choked out, too quiet for anyone to actually here.
