Chapter 46: "Say what?"

Scarlett's pov:

     We are in the forest again roaming around. Earlier today we spotted a rogue from the security room. Much to my and Ceci's disappointment, the rogue disappeared when we arrived. 

     I gotta say, this time Michael did sent an experienced one.

     We have been searching for what feels like an hour. Finding any scents to prove that they were here before. But we came up with nothing. Even with Pura sniffing around can't pick up anything

"You just called me a bitch" Pura scolded

"Well, you are a female dog so..."

"Fuck you"

"Ok, here is no way in hell I'm going to spend the whole night in the forest, Crystal, I want you to get home and sit in front of the cameras. We will stay in the forest. If you see any rogues, inform us" I ordered. She nodded and headed back. I turned to Allison.

"Let's split up" I suggested. She nodded and headed the opposite direction of mine.

     I think I have been going in circles for hours. There are no scent, no movements, no nothing, just nada...

"S-Scarlett, IN THE CLEARING! Five miles up North. There are five of them" Crystal mind linked me

"Heard ya" I replied her

"Allison! Meet you in the clearing" I mind linked her before taking off towards my destination.

     There they are, in the middle of the clearing like they were waiting for someone. Or in other words us. Allison landed next to me and tucked her wings in

"So five of them eh?"

"Yeah, I could totally take them on"

"We know you're here!" one guy yelled out. His voice flattered a little but he composed himself. The other four stepped closer to each other. Do they seriously think that getting closer to each other like penguins would help them?

    We walked out and I chuckled "aww is our little wolfy scared?"

"Let's get to business shall we" guy#2 growled and straightened his back. Like that would make him taller. He's shorter than my 5'8 figure, poor guy. 

"What? Is there going to be another useless message for us?" Allison scoffed and took her arrow out ready to aim. They clearly saw it and took a step back as if ready to run.

"O-our boss, want to inform y-you that the pack-yeah pack should be well prepared" guy#1 stuttered and stood behind the rest

"He would be attacking when you least expect it" guy#2 continues

"And not even you guys or the moon goddess could save them!" guy#4 finished.

     Ohh, look at the irony. Actually, the moon goddess is helping them by sending us here. How much I want to tell him that.

"You expect us to be scared mutt?" Allison sneered, guy#3 growled at her. Looks like we have a brave one here.

"Watch it! You guys will be buried in a graveyard pretty soon. And plus what could you do? You're just girls, when it really comes to war, I bet you wouldn't dare put up a fight, that is why war grounds are for men not weaklings like you"

      Pura, Ceci, Charlotte, and Mirage all growled and tried to take control. They wanted to show these rogues a lesson, but I held them back

"Is that really true? If we are weaklings, then how did we kill hundreds of your comrades and still manage to make you pee your pants. If we are weaklings then you're nothing but a cockroach being stepped on" I growled

"Haha, it's 2 against 10. You can't do nothing" guy#1 taunted and at the same time, 5 more rogues appeared around us. We are trapped.

     They just keep on coming closer and closer until we are trapped tightly in a circle.

     From the outside, I looked scared. But trust me, deep inside. I can beat their asses in a matter of seconds. I doubt Allison would have any problem with it. We did after all train with our uncle and aunts. 

"Are we scared? Aww boohoo" guy#2 mocked in a baby voice. Cowards like him would only find confidence in numbers. 

     In an instant, I was behind him, with my arrow through his neck. He turned to ashes afterward. Well, I guess this rogue wouldn't be hanged.

    Just like that, me and Allison killed each one of them with vampire speed till they are all wiped out. 

"Never judge someone's appearance again," I said to guy#2 before blowing his ashes away.

"That took longer than it did," Allison said burning the ashes "let's get back shall we?"

     With that said, we decided to shift into our wolf and ran home.

~~~TIME SKIP~~~

     I was eating popcorn and watching Suicide Squad in the living room with my whole body laid across the couch. Allison retreated back to her room, and Crystal went to the pack house to tell Uncle Daggers about recent rogue activities. 

"Why choose him? He was only trying to use the bathroom!" I whined but proceeded to eat my popcorn.

     Everything is starting to get interesting when my phone rang. The phone is all the way at the coffee table, which is in front of me. But it's still too far! Too lazy to reach for it, I stretched my leg and pressed answer. Putting it on speaker I returned watching the movie. 

"Hello, this is Scarlett and whatever reason you're calling it better be important or else I would find you and whoop your ass for ruining my movie marathon

"It's me"

" I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet, Adele is that you?"

"No, it's not, It's uncle Daggers," Uncle Daggers's voice came through the phone

"Oh hey, Whats up?"

"I have some news for you," uncle daggers said, but paused

"Your mother told me that we should reveal your identities soon, so I decided to do that after Jaxon's birthday"

     Say what?
