Chapter 36: "Happy Birthday!"

Crystal's pov:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I quickly shot out of my bed and shut the alarm off. Guess what?

TODAY IS MY 17th BIRTHDAY! I can't wait! I wonder if I could get my wolf today... I bet not, because I didn't get one last year.

I jumped into my shower when it was the right temperature and did all my morning hygiene. Dressing in a pair of ripped jeans and a baggy t-shirt, I slipped on my blue converse shoes.

I walked out of my room only to be tackled into a hug

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIL SIS!" Henry yelled into my ear. I chuckled at him. Who would believe that he is the beta?

"Thank you, Henry," I said hugging him back

"Guess what I got you?" Henry stepped back and reached into his pocket wiggling his eyebrows.

He pulled out a black box and handed it to me. I looked at him in confusion but opened the box anyways. My eyes widened when I saw what is in it... it was a... Louis Vuitton brand sunglasses! I looked up in shock

"Do you like them?" Henry asked nervously

I smiled hugging him "of course I like them! In fact, I love them. How did you know that I love this brand?"

"Well duh? I'm your big bro ain't I" swinging his arm around my shoulders and smiling like a Cheshire cat.

"Now shall we get breakfast?" he said in a fake British tone and was really bad at it

"We shall," I said mimicking him.

We ascend the stairs and walked down three floors. The pack house has four floors. The highest ranking live on the top floor including the offices. Then the other floors are for the pack members, including the kitchen, game room, living room, dining room, and the pool and training grounds are outside. Pretty big right?

We entered the dining room to find that everyone is already there and is eating. As we entered I received some 'happy birthday' and I went over to my parents.

"Happy birthday sweetie!" they said together and hugged me. They both then kissed my cheeks. We sat down at our table when mom suddenly has tears rolling down her cheeks.

I rushed towards her and hugged her "what's wrong mom?" she just laughed wiping her tears

"Nothing, just emotional. My baby is growing up! You're already 17!"

I laughed "no need to worry mom! I will always be your baby girl"

"What about me?" dad with a frown on his face pouted at me. Mom leaned over and pecked him in the cheeks

"Don't worry hun, you got me" dad's face lightened up when mom said that. He leaned over just about to kiss mom, I decided to jump between them hugging dad

"You will always be my daddy" [A/N: *narrowing my eyes* I know what you people are thinking]

In the end, we hugged each other and went back to eat. Boy, look at what we have! Bacon, toast, scrambled eggs, pancakes, juice, cereals, and fruit salad. It's like a buffet.
