Chapter 59: Date

Scarlett's pov:

"We have an hour left, and we still didn't do your makeup and hair yet" Crystal yelled pulling her hair

"Sometimes I think you are more excited than me about this date" I mumbled eyeing the green dress with distaste.

I hate dresses. I would always choose jeans and t-shirts over them.

"What was that?" I looked up to see Crystal narrowing her eyes at me

"Nothing"

"Thought so"

Crystal then dragged me into the bathroom and forced me on a seat in front of the mirror.

"What are you doing?"

"Doing your makeup duh" she said grabbing a whole bunch of makeup and dumping them on the counter.

I watched as she lined them up into their own groups before opening them one by one.

There is no way in hell am I allowing her to paint all of those on my face!

"You forgot I have powers right. I could do my makeup in a snap of my fingers" I raised my eyebrow at Crystal.

"Whats the fun of that?"

She glanced at me for a second before turning back to her makeup organizing.

"Exactly, doing my makeup isn't fun. It's long and tiring and boring. I would rather use my powers than have you paint my face into a clown or a panda" I stubbornly crossed my arms and stared at her without blinking.

She stared right back and not long later we are in a staring contest. Both of us not wanting to back down

Not only two minutes later my eyes started to sting. I could see that the same thing is happening to Crystal. So I did the only thing that came up on my mind

I poked her eye.

Crystal hissed and brought her hands up to rub her eye.

"You cheated!"

I shrugged nonchalantly "there was no rule that said cheating isn't allowed. Plus haven't you heard of that quote 'if your not cheating, then you're not trying hard enough'?"

She glared at me but turned around and started putting the makeup away

"Hey! I heard that you have a date with Alec"

When I said that she immediately blushed. Not long ago, Crystal and Alec made up and they decided to take it slow. Just recently Alec finally asked her out and their date just so happens to be today.

That's not the only thing that happened. Since the guys thought that we gave them a chance, they ask-I mean demanded that we moved into the packhouse so that we could be by their side.

Of course, I flat out rejected. There is no fucking way am I leaving this house to go live in another house that is crowded and barely has any privacy. The boys could suck it up for all I care.

"Yeah..."

"When and where?" I asked leaning forward like were exchanging secrets.

"After you leave and he said it's a surprise"

"Damn girl, I never knew that you would do the dirty behind our backs"

Her blush got redder "no! I mean no! I'm not having sex. No not doing the dirty, we are just going to hang out. Eat and get to know each other"
