Chapter 55: Why did you reject her?

Allison's pov:

"It's true..." I turned around surprised to see Scarlet and Crystal standing by the door arms crossed. 

"What are you doing here?" I asked her

     Her face is expressionless. Uh oh! This is bad! Scarlett's always the happy and hyper one in the family. It's really rare to see her like this.

"You guys took too long." she simply replied walking towards the table with us following

"Why did you reject her?" Henry asked Jaxon. We are now all staring at him waiting for his answer

     I watched as he fidgeted with his fingers before looking at Scarlett with regretful eyes. Tammy sitting by his side tried to stop him from speaking but Alec held her back.

"I thought she was weak ok? I thought rejecting her could be better for the pack. I was afraid that you guys would be disappointed in me for having her as a mate!" 

     I feel Scarlett stiffen beside me and Lucy was just about to march up there.

"So you're saying that you're disappointed in her?!" I said in disbelief. Who does he think he is?! He rejected Scarlett before he took the time to get to know her. 

     I know that I did the same thing, and it was selfish of me to do that, but at least me and Henry fixed our relationship

"I regretted rejecting her! After finding out that she is part of the secret guardians, I realized that she is way stronger than I thought. After I rejected her, I was starting to regret it. My wolf was made at me to the point where he doesn't want to talk to me! I thought about going to her and apologize for everything, but the thought of having a weak mate stopped me. I'm really sorry for it and I would do anything to get her back. Tammy isn't my real mate. I just thought that she is stronger and could be my luna. I truly realized that it was a wrong decision" he finished. 

     The pack members around us gave a look of disgust towards Jaxon and Tammy. Tammy obviously noticing that the looks weren't exactly friendly shrunk back into her chair. 

"It sure was a wrong decision," Scarlett said. 

     She then turned to Lucy and dragged her out of here with me and Crustal following her. 

     Glancing at her occasionally, I can tell that she is pissed off considering her blank expression is still on, but I did see this glint pass through just as fast as it came. 

"I WILL GET YOU BACK NO MATTER WHAT!" Jaxon yelled from the door of the pack house. 

     Scarlett ignored him and dragged us all out into the streets.

"I guess didn't go well huh?" Lucy asked sheepishly rubbing her neck

     Scarlett glared at her not pleased. Me and Crystal trailed behind them

"I was planning to keep the mate thing a secret"

"Oh really? Sorry didn't know" Lucy apologized giving Scarlett another sheepish smile

"How about I tell you this funny prank I did on Xavier to make you feel better?"

     Lucy then went on telling us about this one time that she drew a dick on Xavier's forehead with a sharpie

Scarlett's pov:

     I was laying on my bed. Something I found myself doing quite a lot. 

'I will get you back no matter what!' his words rang through my head for the last hour.

     Yea, I have been thinking about what he said even though I tried my best not to. After arriving back home, I immediately shut myself in my room. I, no, my inner selves were content on what Jaxon said

     I, on the other hand, could only think about the amount of trouble I got myself into this. I groaned and laid back on my bed

"WHY IS MY LIFE SO HORRIBLE!" I yelled to no one in particular.

"If you're saying that your life is horrible, you should think about mine," Lucy said walking into the room and sat next to me. Her baby bump is already showing for being 2 months pregnant. Well, we aren't exactly normal so...

"You're still here?" I asked

"Geez, feeling the love" I rolled my eyes at her comment

"But seriously, aren't you suppose to go back to Xavier before he freaks out?"

     She looked at anywhere but me and played with her hands. Something she does when she is nervous.

"You snuck out didn't you" I sighed

"Gasp! You found out" she yelled dramatically covering her mouth 

"Quit playing! Did you tell him about the pregnancy?"

"No... he was really busy these days with the company" you heard her right. Xavier currently owned a chain of hotel and clubs in New York and basically throughout the world. 

     I know what you're thinking, the big bad son of the moon and sun god's son working in a company? Well, Xavier never liked living in Heaven. He wanted to go out to the mortal world since I was a little kid. 

     I always wondered how he could hate living in Heaven since he basically gets everything he wanted there, now that I'm older, I finally realized that Heaven doesn't give you everything. It didn't give you the feeling of challenge. 

     Xavier didn't want everything to be handed to him on a silver platter, so he moved to the New York and started his own company. 

     I remembered the day where he was leaving and I asked him why. He said and I quote 'I want to accomplish things on my own'

     Yea sure he was successful, but he was always fooling around with different women and breaking heart left to right. That was why mom gave him a mate to get him more 'matured' as she says.

     It took him forever to bring Lucy to Heaven to meet the family because he said he didn't want to scare her, but when we did Lucy and I instantly clicked like were long lost friends

"...he's really distant and is always in his... HEY! Are you even listening?"

"Yea," I said zoning back to Lucy. She was facing me with her arms crossed. 

"Really? Then what did I say?"

"Uhh, oh yeah! You said something about you stealing Xavier's favorite cookie which is Oreos by the way and then he distanced himself from you because nobody eats his favorite cookies mate or not/"

     She looked at me in disbelief "just admit that you didn't hear anything I said"

"Fine!" I threw my hands in the air. "So when are you going back?" I said changing the subject

"Maybe tomorrow?"

"You better go back sooner or earlier before Xavier throw a tantrum finding out that your missing... you know what? I take my words back, he is throwing one right now"

"Ok ok I get it," she said raising her hands in surrender before getting off my bed "plus if Xavier was really throwing a fit, I have my own ways to calm him down" she added winking at me

      I wrinkled my nose in disgust "Oh god! I don't even want to know what your ways are, but please go back to your room you horny slut" 

     I shoved her to the guest room "and have a nice sleep" I finished closing the door in her face 

"love you!" I heard her yell

"Love you too," I said and walked back to my room to my heaven known as the bed
