Allison's pov:
I sat on the couch with my head in my hands. After Victoria blurted the news to us, I felt that there are more responsibilities dropping on my shoulders. So I decided to let everyone rest before going back to the planning.
Apparently, Jim is a demon in disguise in Heaven, and he is Victoria's ex-mate. Added on top of that, Crystal also told me that Jim is obsessed with Scarlett and me and is out for us. Well more like out for me since he already got Scarlett.
Now that we know Jim is working for Michael, the situation got a whole lot serious. No doubt he told Michael everything he knows about us.
I sighed heavily and rubbed my eyes. I didn't get enough sleep, with Scarlett in danger and the pack getting ready, I don't have time to sleep.
Who could sleep at a time like this?
Hearing someone approach me, I looked up to see Lucy coming to the couch while rubbing her large stomach.
"Hey," she said sitting next to me "figured you will be here. So tell me, what's stressing you out?"
"Everything! First Scarlett gets kidnapped now Jim is involved. Why is life so difficult?" I whined
She hugged me sideways and I leaned against her "Trust me, you will get through this eventually. There is always a point in your life that is the worst."
"When is your worst moment in life?"
She thought about it while rubbing her chin "actually there is more than one point in your life where it is the worst"
Curious I sat up and looked at her "really? when?"
"When my parents died" immediately sadness filled me. Lucy lost her parents at a young age and was abandoned by those who are supposed to be her 'family'. At the age of five, she was already an orphan with no one to turn to.
I could never imagine what she went through. Luckily, mom paired her with Xavier or else I wouldn't meet someone as amazing as Lucy and I'm very grateful for having her as my sister in law.
"Another is being pregnant" she grinned at me like the thoughts of her parent's isn't affecting her, but I knew better
Chuckling I shook my head "wait till Xavier hears about this"
"What it's true! She has been making me want to pee all the time and I think I just made Xavier poor with all the eating I have been doing"
"It's a she?" I stared at her wide-eyed
"Yep, another female member included the family" her eyes shined with happiness. Smiling at her, I put my hand on her stomach. Right away, I felt a kick
Laughing I look up to see Lucy smiling brightly before tears gathered in her eyes
"I'm sorry, it's the hormones"
"Right, blame it all on the hormones"
Standing up I turned to Lucy "I going to look for Victoria, go back to Xavier before he goes insane alright?"
She rolled her eyes before standing up too "Ok ok jeez, it's not like I could get lost here" she muttered walking off
Laughing I went home. Since Victoria didn't like living in a pack house with a lot of noises, I offered her a room in my house. Raya was more than happy to sleep in the pack house claiming there is unlimited food there
