Allison's pov:

I was woken up by somebody shaking me roughly.

"Allison wake up!" the voice yelled.

Groaning slightly, I sat up and stretched my sore muscles. Sleeping on a hard metal chair over night is a bad idea. My eyes were puffy due to the crying and dry tears tainted my face.

I probably look like shit now...

"Allison, come on please!" that person said again from next to me

Turning to my right, I see Victoria standing there looking like she hadn't slept in days. Her attire was messy and her hair looked like a birds nest. Big black rimmed glasses are perched on her nose, in front of her eyes that have dark circles under. She looked nothing like the Queen of Witches at that moment.

"What happened?" I asked her sleepily.

Taking a look at Scarlett still form, she took a seat on a sofa across from the bed.

"Where is Jaxon?" I frowned. He is Scarlett's mate and yet he didn't come visit her.

"He was out of control so we had to knock him out," Victoria said shrugging nonchalantly. She then leaned forward and her serious face came back on

"We need to talk about Scarlett.I might know the reason why she turned out like that yesterday, and we might be able to save her from what I found"

Interest and hope filled in me when I heard those words. I sat up straighter suddenly awake. Nodding towards her to continue, I grabbed Scarlett's hand once again.

"So let's start with her transformation... I highly believe that the reason she lost control yesterday was that of the blue diamond"

Seeing my confused expression, Victoria sighed and continued explaining.

"The blue diamond is an object that can harm us, well except for witches and humans since we are like humans too. The Harpe is just an enchanted version of blue diamonds which made it deadlier. I believed that Scarlett has a witch side to her, yes?"

I nodded

"Witches naturally knows how to heal, so when she is trapped in a room made of blue diamonds, I believe her Witch side was the only one not affected. This could lead her to try to heal the others believing that it would help the situation. But, it only made everything worse. Blue diamonds are also known for having the ability to suppress one's powers. Healing the others meant putting them under more influence of the blue diamonds. The more they're healed, the more they would fight against the powers of blue diamonds. Eventually, the balance between the human and inner-selves are destroyed and that caused them to break through Scarlett's barrier. That is why she lost control, at the battle, it wasn't her. That was all five of her inner-selves controlling her." Victoria finished and took her glasses off.

Rubbing her forehead she closed her eyes as I let all the information sink in. So that's the reason why she looked like that. Her form was like an ultimate combination of all and her voice was mixed with others. Just thinking about it again brought chills down my spine.

"What about saving her?" I asked, hoping that she could heal faster and come back to me.

At my question, Victoria looked pained. She even looked like she didn't want to tell me

"To save Scarlett... one of them have to die..."
