Scarlett's pov:
"If the moon goddess is your mom, then why didn't she inform you about the 'revealing our secrets' thing?" Crystal asked
"I don't know, maybe it's because uncle Daggers is the alpha, and he needs to inform the pack first. Honestly, I have no idea. She is the moon goddess after all" Allison said
"Yeah, our mom is really mysterious. She is a goddess, I think dad is the only one that understands her" I added walking backward.
Yesterday, after Uncle Daggers called, I went to bed. I was too tired to think about everybody's reaction about the real me. And I didn't want to thnk about the birthday party too. Jaxon is going to be 19.
In the short amount of time after Jaxon rejected me, I managed to block ignore the mate bond. It was easier than I thought. Maybe because I haven't seen Jaxon around much...
Did I mention that his birthdays' today? Crystal, Allison and me decided to go to the mall in the human part of the town and buy a wardrobe of clothes. Now were just walking back to our cars.
As we reached the parking lot, I saw a bunch of people crowded around our cars, mostly guys.
"Damn this is my dream car! Whoever got this really lucky" one of the guys in front of my Lamborghini said running his hands over the hood. The others around him nodded in agreement. Looking over to Allison and Crystal's car the same thing is happening.
Left and right, guys talked about how envious they are while the girls started gushing about how the owners might be hot and something along the lines of getting laid.
I know I'm hot but sorry, I don't do girls.
When we arrived at the crowd, we tried to push our way through only to find this task hard considering the amount of bags we each have
"Excuse me!" I shouted over the crowd. Some of them turned around to look but ignored what I said.
Getting frustrated I yelled again "EXCUSE ME! COMING THROUGH!"
Minutes later we finally arrived at our cars which are parked to each other. Panting slightly I put my bags on the hood of my car.
I was about to take my keys out when the guy from earlier reached out and took hold of my wrist.
"What a pretty girl like you doing here?" he said. Looking at him, I noticed he looked quite cute for a human. With jet black hair and green eyes, it made him look mysterious that a lot of girls these days find attractive.
I guess he knows that too because he gave me a charming smile that will get a girl drooling but not me. Don't question my gender! It's just that after I met Jaxon and he rejected me, I don't find myself interested into other guys.
"Can't you see the bags? Shopping duh!" I rolled my eyes at him and snatched my wrist from him. His smile flattered slightly before choosing another approach.
"How about we drive around the town or something, we can take my baby over here" he grinned patting my car.
I raised my eyebrow at him "oh really? That sounds good to me. I always wanted to go to this cafe, could you drive me there?" I challenged crossing my arms over my chest.
The boy looked down at my chest before his grin widened and he nodded furiously "Of course, why don't we first grab some food then the cafe" he reached for me, but I stepped away
"But I want to go to the cafe now!"
"We can later-"
"How about you stop using other people's car to try and pick up girls," I said looking over at Allison and Crystal. I saw that they are already in their cars and are watching me. Turning back to the guy, he looked at me with furrowed eyebrows
