Your POV

It's night.

More specifically it's a full moon. But you weren't outside, you were only observing. Your vision shifted from the night sky filled with stars to a forest. An open area lined with trees with a lake at it's center.

But as you looked at the reflection of the moon in the water of the lake you saw a young women standing there, in the water, a brown (A/T).

The water was up to her hips and she cupped the water in one of her hands, moving her hand back and forth in the water. She seemed so content, not caring in the slightest that her dress was sodden.

Who was she?

She began to turn her head to you, but just before you could see her face...

You woke up.

Sitting up you cupped your head in your hands, recounting the dream. You were that women was, you knew all too well.

"Mum...."

Why had you dreamed of her specifically? You were used to the repeated nightmares, detailing that night of how your parents were killed before your eyes or how you were nearly taken that night.

So to have an entirely new dream was more terrifying than reliving your night terrors. Not only that why did you dream of your mother in that forest? You'd never seen her do anything like that before, so why? It was utterly un-linked to anything.

Giving a heavy sigh you kicked off your blanket, suddenly feeling as though you were being suffocated.

I need some air...

A little groggily you got up and thought you might as well go to that garden you had found last night, it was the best you could get seeming though you couldn't go outside any more.

It was now night though, you'd woken up earlier in the day and Amy had checked up on you making sure you ate something. After that you'd gone back to sleep and now it was around 1:00am.

You allowed yourself a small smile as you opened the door though, as you had thought to yourself earlier you weren't completely alone. And Amy was growing to be a rather caring figure to you.

Treading lightly down the corridor it was as dark and quiet as last night, no one in sight. Easily able to remember the way to that garden you carried on silently, eager to breath in some clean air.

Man, I've only been inside for about a day and already I want to go outside. What's it going to be like when I'm in a safe house?

Just then the small doorway leading into garden came into view, the small trickle of the fountains already being heard and various plants peeking into view, a little moonlight leaking out into the corridor.

You were just about to step into the moonlight when-

"Stop."

Freezing you knew only one person had a voice as deep as that.

"Why?" you asked in a small voice, still a manikin.

"Act natural, pat your pockets as if you've forgotten something and then turn around and head back this way." he said, not answering your question.

Doing as Shadow said you 'acted natural' lightly patting the pockets of your trousers before turning around, for an instant scared about seeing Shadow's possible expression, getting the impression you weren't supposed to even be out of your room.

But he was staring behind you into the garden, looking slightly up.

Walking back down the corridor at a usual pace he didn't move until you passed him, taking his place next to you as you both headed back the way you came. You gaze nervous glances at him but his gaze was fixed on what was in front of him.
