Third persons POV
"Cream go and get your mother! And tell Chuck to fetch one of the town doctors just in case!" Sally ordered straight away.
Cream gave a nod with her watery eyes dashed off up to the ground level. Shadow didn't hesitate to pick (Y/N) up, trying his best to ignore the blood, (Y/N)'s blood, soaking through his gloves and staining the majority of her torso.
A rushed walk carried (Y/N) back to her room, he placed her on the bed gently taking a couple of steps back. Sally being her level headed self held (Y/N)'s wrist and began counting her pulse.
"Her pulse is frantic." Sally gasped.
"What do you think could have caused this?" Shadow asked shakily, trying his best not to look at the blood.
"I don't know, but Vanilla will. Are you sure Scourge only had a hold of her for a couple of seconds?" Sally asked.
When she didn't receive an answer she glanced behind her Shadow was no where to be seen. Brushing it off as he couldn't stand the blood she returned her attention to (Y/N), who was now gasping for breath.
But pulling up her sleeve to take her pulse again her bruises ,were completely gone.
Shadow's POV
Kicking the door of a near by bathroom open fiercely I ripped off my soaked gloves throwing them into the sink, being sure not to loosen my rings .
The smell, I've got to get rid of the smell...
Frantically turning on the tap water gushed out and I violently scrubbed at my hands at the blood that was now in my fur. But it did little good as I could still smell it!
I then saw her blood was also on the hems of my sleeves. So I literally tore off my jacket, hearing the seam tear, and chucked it on the floor. Resting my hands on the rim of the sink I couldn't stop my hands from shaking. My breaths were also ragged, and my heart beat was once again elevated.
Because I could still smell it.
I'm unstable. So giving up I knew I had to get out of the building, away from the smell. Fumbling I turned the tap off leaving my drowned gloves and torn jacket, staggering out the room and up the stairs to the ground level.
Stumbling I made it to a door that led outside, despite it being morning the sky was a dark grey snow lightly blocking my view. I welcomed the cold that numbed my senses, even though being a vampire I was cold enough.
I let my knees cinch beneath me and I knelt on the ground, the snow saturating my trousers. Grabbing hand fulls of snow I pressed it against my face hoping it might in some way numb my brain, prevent me from feeling a thing.
I can't loose control, I can't loose control... I can't hurt anyone else.
It wasn't safe for me to be in there. My rings and eyes were both glowing, I already knew that. It wasn't safe for me to be in there, I didn't want to risk harming them. I didn't want to risk harming her.
But the smell of her blood. It was so sweet, it was intoxicating. I could have gotten drunk of merely the scent of her blood. But what terrified the most is I haven't experienced blood lust this strong since...
I can't trust myself to go back inside, at least not until I've properly fed. With my breathing and heart rate finally back to their natural rate I was about to run into town to feed, but I stopped. When I heard faint screaming coming from inside.
Third person's POV
Anguished screams rang through the underground level as Vanilla and Sally desperately tried to tend to (Y/N), but she was barely conscious thrashing about flailing her limbs around screaming blue murder panting and sweating.
