Your POV
Staring up at the stranger who called himself Mephiles you were paralysed, unsure whether it was due to fear or the cold because of the lack of blood. A lump was in your throat as though you were going to be sick, either that or pass out. I need to get out of here, but how can I do that with my le-
In an instant a heat took over your body and you jolted from a sudden stab of pain at your leg. For second you whimpered trying to hide the fact you were in pain but that was a wasted effort, as soon you were screaming.
"Good. It's started."
With that apathetic comment Mephiles left. Despite the pain you could hear him take several steps and then the clattering of an iron door. But you were quickly occupied by the seething fire coming from your leg. A gut retching sizzling hissing noise came from your leg as your flesh fizzed like acid as it mended itself, your bone jolting as it snapped back into place.
The immense agony moved up from from your leg and into your chest, you had hardly even realised your ribs had been fractured. And then there were sharp pains all over as scabs and cuts healed all over. All the while you were screaming and begging inside for the only person you needed, the only person you wanted.
Shadow where are you!?
Third Persons POV
Mephiles made his way down stone walled corridors, every step painfully tearing through the silence and (Y/N)'s distanced screams. The building was painfully aged due to the fact it was a Chapel, built centuries ago. The perfect location for a Vampire to hide, due to the fact it would never be thought that a vampire would dare go so near to possible holy water or silver crosses.
But Mephiles wasn't a vampire. He was, something else.
"What with all the racket?"
Scourge leant on a splintered pew rubbing his ear in annoyance as (Y/N)'s howls rang through the building.
"Geez, even all the way down in the dungeons you can hear her." He continued to grumble.
In many old Chapels from the days vampires were still new to the world, they were seen as the embodiment of the devil. And so it wouldn't be rare to find churches, chapels and abbeys with dungeons underneath. It was considered tortured and weakening for vampires.
"Need I remind you that the half breed wouldn't be in this state if you and Rosy hadn't have been spotted in London." Mephiles growled "your objective was to distract the hunters and Shadow as I retrieved the half breed. But because of your being spotted we had to quickly re-plan and now they are aware of Rosy."
"Save the lecture. We've got the dolly cooped up and by the time those hunter catch on where we are we'll have done what we need to her." He shrugged "and they don't know you're involved so what's the fuss?"
With the screaming still ringing through the building Scourge grimaced again.
"I'm gonna switch out with Fiona. I'll patrol the grounds, anything to get away from that banshee."
With that Scourge left leaving Mephiles.
"Soon..."
