Your POV

Tapping your fingers repeatedly on your thigh you let out yet again another sigh. Unsurprisingly time had passed at a snail pace for the last few hours.

Once Sally deemed that you looked enough like a hunter and had explained the plan again she suggested you go back to your room and get some more rest, as there were still lots of things that needed sorting out which surprise, surprise, you couldn't help out with.

So quite frankly you were sick of resting so you kindly asked if you could stay in the library. Sally agreed telling you several times to not look out the window before hand however, but that didn't stop you pulling a chair up to it listening to the sounds outside as you read a random books, wanting to feel as though you'd been practical in a sense.

And then when you couldn't concentrate on reading anymore you reloaded and unloaded your gun constantly checking the several magazines you had on you.

However as noon came closer your nerves started to spike.

What if Scourge does turn up? What if anything goes wrong on the train? What if Amy gets hurt pretending to be me?

Despite you being nervous everyone seemed calm enough. Amy had spoke to you before she had to get ready to play decoy assuring you she'd be fine, saying it would even be fun for her. And before she left she wished you luck.

But then you snapped from your panicked thoughts when you heard a car drive away from the building. You knew it was Amy leaving.

Please let everything go to plan...

Standing up you knew you'd be leaving the Society soon, so you thought you should put the chair back so Sally didn't give you a lecture for sitting near the window. Then as if on cue there was a knock at the door before Sally walked in along with Sonic.

"Amy's just left with Bunny and Tails and the train is pulling into the station, are you all set?" she asked not wasting a second.

"I think so. I've checked my gun several times as well just in case." you replied.

"Good to hear, Sonic will take you to the station now." she said giving a nod.

"You ready?" he asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." you shrugged.

Without hesitating he then picked you up bridal style and in an instant the world became a blur! You had to shield your eyes as the light drastically changed from the dim dims to bright sunlight. Cars, street life and other sounds melded into one along with the rush of colours and then it all came to a sudden halt.

Sonic put you down straight away but you stumbled a little feeling dizzy lightly clutching your head after that extreme roll'a'coaster ride.

"Well you better get going, head up these stairs and you'll be on the platform and be sure to hold onto the banister. Good luck with your mission!" he said giving you a thumbs up before dashing off again.

With your ears focusing on the roaring of trains you started to jog up the set of stone stairs Sonic had dropped you off at, desperately clinging to keep your balance when you got to the top a brisk wind met your face.

On the top platform the train was pulled in and you glanced around for Shadow. But you were made violently jump when someone roughly grabbed your wrist gripping it tightly.

It was Shadow and he was holding a nasty scowl.

"There you are! Late as usual!" he snapped not looking at you dragging you onto the train.
