FAITH POV: We are sitting in the kitchen with the police officers. They're looking around the house for any evidence of forced entry, but they keep telling Betty and I that the only possibility was for him to run away. If he did, then why? I mean it makes absolutely no sense why he would leave. He was happy last night.
"Faith, maybe that's why he was acting weird yesterday. I mean it's a possibility. I know you don't want to have to think of him doing that and I don't want that to be true either, but what else is there." Betty says.
"He told me he was having nightmares about someone killing me and the kids." I blurt out.
"What?" Betty says.
"He said he kept having the same nightmare for the past few weeks about losing me and the kids. Like he has to watch us die Betty." I tell her. She hugs me and I rest my head on her chest as I begin to cry. "What if he's dead?"
