TIM POV: I made the biggest lunch for Faith since we slept in. She's been so nervous for tonight, and I don't get why. I mean we've been doing this for years! This isn't our first benefit either. This should we a walk in the park, but with her album getting held back, I get part of her worries.
Faith walks down the stairs yawning in my t-shirt and a pair of boxers.
"Hey babe! I made you some lunch. Actually, a lot of lunch!" I said laughing. She smiled. "Ma already came by to pick up the kids. And I already got everything taken care of for tonight so you can relax." I pull out a chair for her at the breakfast bar.
She smiled and said, "Why thanks you. What time should we head down?".
"In about two hours. Think you'll be ready by then?"
"I reckon I will." She smiled
Two hours later, and we are at the arena. Faith's people take her to go get all done up while the guys and I hang out in the meeting room. I go over and talk to Faith's manager.
"Hey, do you know why Faith is really nervous?" I ask him, hoping he can give me some kind of insight.
"No, I haven't even realized. Maybe it's because y'all are performing a new song. Besides that, I have no idea." He says.
"Alright, well thanks." I say as I walk back to her dressing room.
"Hey beautiful." I say as I open the door to her dressing room. She's wearing the most beautiful dress. She looks amazing.
"Hey handsome." She says as she leans in for a kiss. "You ready for this?" She says acting hyper. I have a feeling that everythings going to be just fine. Maybe I was just overreacting to her anxiety.
