BETTY POV: I'm with Tim as I let out a sigh. This isn't right. Whoever did this to him deserves the worst punishment. He must be in so much pain, but I can't pull myself to let him go. I'm sure Faith feels the same. And if I know Tim, I know the last thing he would want to do is leave those girls in this world without a father. Tim's a good man, and I don't know what he could've done to deserve this.
Where's Faith? She's never been gone this long. I would've thought she'd be back by now. As if on que, Faith walks in the door sobbing.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Jack threatened the girls and Tim. He has people out there watching the girls and he said if Tim doesn't die he's going to kill him anyways. Betty I don't know what to do." She says, crying too hard to continue talking.
"Wait, when did you talk to Jack?"
"A few minutes ago."
"Alone?"
"Yes. I don't know why but I thought It would settle somethings if I saw him. I thought he would be in a worse condition than Tim is in, but he's fine and it makes me sick." She says. I hold her and rock back and forth, hoping to calm her down.
