Minutes Before the explosion:
JACK POV: Everything is set and I'm in position. Everything is going according to the plan until Faith walks on stage. She wasn't supposed to come on till later. I guess I'll just have to blow them both up now won't I? I'm starting to get a bit giddy as I have my phone out, ready to ignite the bomb. Then Faith starts singing.
"I wanna get lost in some corner booth, Cantina Mexico..." I listen.
She goes on to the chorus. This is perfect! I call the number, but the bomb doesn't ignite. Tim begins to walk to the side of the stage, away from all of the bombs. Damnit!
The bomb goes off after a good 20 second delay. The first bomb blows, not doing much damage. Only the first row of people are affected. By the time the last two went off, everyone was already running away, but there was much more shrapnel, which got to Faith. Tim is still standing without a mark. Anger boils inside of me as I grab my gun and go down to the main levels.
When I see Tim carry Faith outside, I begin to think of how to strike. That's when I hear Audrey scream. Perfect.
I cover her mouth and drag her outside. Faith see's me almost instantly, but Tim was too focused on Faith to realize.
"Girls!" Faith screams and points at me with horror in her eye. I smile as Audrey screams. She begins to cry as I pull the safety.
"Jack, stop please. Just shoot me and leave them alone alright?" He says, his hands covered in Faith's blood. Faith begins to sob as she remembers my threat two and a half years ago.
"Oh and sweetheart, if your husband doesn't die, I'll only get a maximum of 2 years in the slammer. I'll just kill him anyways, and maybe take an extra- souvenir. I always liked Audrey." I hear replay in my head, smiling at the thought of the threat coming true.
I put my finger on the trigger, and say one last word. "Here's something you gave to me Tim. Desperation." As I fire the gun.
