Tris' POV

I cough as Christina now tries to help me to a sitting position within the dark moonlit grass. Everything that had just happened to me felt like nothing but a mere dream; or rather a nightmare. An impulsive nightmare.

My sides were aching badly and my back felt gouged with electric-fiery pain but for the most part I was alive and that was all that I cared about.

"S-So what should we do now? We have to head for a safer area and get out of the open." Christina next suddenly suggests, her eyes still thronging with fear and disbelief though with every glance she took at us.

"You're right, but Tris is still hurting badly. I want to be careful with her." Tobias notes thoughtfully, and I turn to meet his loving eyes for me.

I knew he had to be hurting badly as well. He was trying though to cover it up with a few grunts every now and then and his new-pivoting stance from one leg to the other.

I didn't want him to just keep putting his own pain off. It wasn't good for him.

Christina suddenly now grasps my arms gently and I blink back to reality and out of my swimming thoughts for Tobias.

"Can you move?" She asks slowly with a caring tone and I shrug. "Well if I managed to run up and out of some crazy death basement and away from Eric who had only gotten stunned by a small flashlight in time for us to get away from him... then yeah, I think I can manage a simply walk, Christina." I joke rather poorly with a trying smile and she laughs at this.

I notice the corners of Tobias' mouth twitch as well and I smile rather contently at the two of my friends before me.

I would be nothing without them...

Christina and Tobias then help me to my feet and then lead me away from the open stretch of grassy land that surrounded the tower's aging building from behind us.

We were safe for a very limited amount of time.

We head around some thick tree-trunks with nothing but long dead branches outstretching from them overhead before we finally come to a corner of the fenced-in map, the tall spikes along the gate's top pointing jaggedly sky-ward with misdemeanor and eeriness.

As the two help set me down next I can't help but let my mind slowly drift back onto Peter and his heroic act towards us.

H-How did he even gain that flashlight of his in the first place? I wonder rather thoughtfully and with this I turn my attention towards Christina, her brow wet with sweat and her eyes still gleaming with anticipating fear.

"C-Christina..." I wheeze and I make a face at the sound of my voice.

She nods at me. "Yeah?"

"Were you with P-Peter before he... you know, came to rescue me and Tobias in the basement?" I question at her and she gives me a nod next in reply. "I was actually."

"Well... how exactly did Peter even find that flashlight he used to save us?"

At this Christina's eyes light up with a hint of fascination on the subject. "Oh yeah the flashlight! He found me and showed it to me and then told me that he had found it in another chest lying around the area." She now explains simply and I raise my eyebrows just slightly at her answer. I was rather surprised.

"A-Another chest?" I repeat in slow awe and she nods.

Tobias at this gives a small tip of his head in a questioning theory. "Well uh, how many chests can one find in this place?" He now inquires next before he then lets his gaze start drifting around our surroundings.
