The helicopter landed on another large island, what was surprising was that there was a helicopter pad on top of the castle. And his castle was bigger than my own. The second the helicopter stilled Luke was out of his seat and unbuckling me.
"Someone is going to be so excited to see you, Aspen." He whispered into my ear as he pulled me out of the seat. My blood ran cold but I was incapable of stopping him when he dragged me out of the helicopter and inside of the castle.
As he yanked me down stairs and hallways I saw at least seven other women and four men. They all bowed their heads when they saw Luke and I fought back the urge to gag. He threw open a bedroom door and pulled me inside behind him.
Sam was lounging on the bed but his eyes locked onto me the second I was inside of the room. He was shirtless and I could see the scars. The gunshot scars, the scars from me stabbing him. "You found her." Sam left the bed and stalked towards me slowly.
His grey eyes trailed down my body. I couldn't move, Luke was holding onto my arm too tightly. Before Sam could touch me Luke pulled me behind him roughly. "She's one of mine now, Sam."
"No, I've been after her for a year now. She belongs to me." Sam glared at his brother who still held onto my arm.
"I might let you play with her but she is not yours." Luke was smug as he dangled me in front of his brother like a toy. I was caught in the crossfire of two very dangerous creatures.
"Just let me see her." Sam seethed with anger which only amused his older brother. Luke slowly dragged me in front of him but kept me close. Sam reached forward and his fingers stroked the side of my face. I recoiled bumping into Luke hard.
"Don't fucking touch me!" I choked out, glaring at the devil.
"I think that's enough excitement for today." Luke pulled me towards the door as Sam looked ready to pounce on me. I didn't breathe until I was back in the hallway and the door was closed.
"Let go of me." I hissed and tried prying his hand off of my arm. Luke's free hand grabbed a fistful of my hair and pulled, forcing my face up. He leaned so close I could feel his breath on my skin.
"I am in control here, so shut up or I'll hurt that pretty little face." Luke snarled, the crimson tendrils rising out of him. I winced in pain as he tightened his grip on my hair. He pushed me against the wall and released his grasp on me.
"Where's Christian?" I asked warily. I instantly regretted saying anything when interest lit up his purple eyes. He smiled that wicked smile again. "So you care about the kid?" Luke stared down at me smugly.
"He's the only innocent one in this entire situation." I replied carefully, Luke grabbed my hips and pulled me closer. "Besides you." He let go of me with a laugh.
"Follow me before I leave you for Sam." Luke turned on his heel and began walking down the hallway once again. With a glance back at Sam's door I trotted after the Incubus. I followed him back up a flight of stairs. He opened the last door in the hall and motioned me inside. There was a bed, wardrobe, and a connected bathroom. A small armchair was in one corner next to a tall lamp and a desk was by the tiny window. The room was by no means welcoming but it was clean and livable.
"You'll be in here until I can trust you with the other girls. Don't try to escape because I will not save you from Sam or anyone else that catches you. Now be a good girl and stay in here until I collect you for meals." Luke leaned on the doorframe as I looked up at him.
I felt drained from his feeding earlier and I wasn't about to remain weak and helpless under the same roof as Sam. "But I'm hungry now..." I gazed up at him from beneath my lashes.
"Oh, really?" Luke smirked and took a step into the room.
"Absolutely famished." I purred, leaning against the wall.
"I'm sure I could help...for a price." The Incubus boxed me in against the wall and I had my meal snagged. My hands cupped his face softly. I struck, pulling his face to mine and kissing him.
My power shot up and my skin tingled where it touched his. I felt better, stronger as I fed from him. He was strong and I was full within two minutes of making out with him. With a small smile I pushed him away. "Goodbye Luke." I pushed the Incubus out of the room and closed the door.
"That's not over, Succubus. You owe me." He yelled through the door, a bitter laugh bubbled out of my throat.
"We're even! You already fed from me." My voice was shaky as I responded. He barked out a laugh but his footsteps faded away. I tried to lock the door but there wasn't a lock on the doorknob. I crossed the room and sat down on the bed. There was nothing to do but sleep. My clothes felt grimy but I wasn't going to leave myself vulnerable in a house filled with demons.
I sprawled across the top of the bed and stared a a spot on the wall until I slowly drifted into a fitful sleep. It was blessedly dreamless but I was bored and uncomfortable.
A knock sounded seconds before the door opened but I didn't move. A hand pushed my hair out of my face and trailed down my neck. I groaned and rolled away to the other side of the bed.
"Time for lunch, little girl. Let's wake up now or I might just join you in bed." I bolted upright and glared at Luke. With a laugh he pulled me off of the bed and out of the bedroom. I was about to eat a meal with a room full of demons and all I could think about was Persephone and how screwed over she got by eating some pomegranate seeds in hell.
