*Brielle's Point of View*

"So tell me about you," Jc said to me from across the table at Newport Creamery. "Well nothing really... I'm home schooled," I replied. There really isn't anything to me. "I'm an only child and I don't have a dad," I added. "Are your parents divorced?" He asked nervously. "No he died a few years ago, when I was going into 7th grade, that's why my mom put me in home schooling," I said, showing no emotion. "I thought you went to school?" Jc asked changing the subject. "I do," I replied. " I'm done with school and now I'm taking AP classes at my high school and some other credits at our community college." "Wow your only 15!" Jc said surprised. "Well I had a lot of time on my hands," I laughed. "What are you gonna do now?" Jc asked curiously. "Um I'm not sure, my dad left behind a lot of money. I might move somewhere else but I have to wait until I'm 18, or find a roommate that's 18." I said taking a sip of my Mint Chocolate Awful Awful. "Wow you have plans!" Jc laughed, "If you don't mind me asking, how did your dad die?" My dad wasn't a sore subject, I just didn't know enough to make a story come together. "I was 12 when he died. I didn't really understand because I chose not to. I knew he died of a rare cancer found in his lung. Before he died he sold his company, which apparently was worth millions of dollars. He knew he was gonna die so he sold it because he knew my mom wouldn't be able to handle the stress. He left me 1.5 million and same with my mom. He paid off the house and left a lot of money for utilities and what ever we needed. I wasn't born into a house where money was an issue but I was by no means spoiled, and I'm not spoiled now. So I have all this money that I don't know what to with. I wanna go and explore, leave Rhode Island... But I'm not an adult yet." I said shakily. I don't like sharing the fact that I have money, I don't like talking about myself period, but I felt so comfortable around Jc. Jc looked at me and loosely grabbed my hand from across the table,"Come to L.A". I looked at him and smiled. Our moment was interrupted by the waitress binging over our food. Jc let go of my hand and smiled. We ate and then we left.
