ARIANAS POV
I paced around his front porch for a while, just thinking about what to do. My mind was telling me to leave. Get out of there, don't be stupid, what are you doing? My heart was telling me to stay so I could at least know what the whole situation was about. Just knock on the door and hopefully his mom will answer. She'll tell you what's up, right?
Then again, if I did infact door bell and ask what waas up, would he even care to tell me? I mean, if he did want to tell me, he would've told me already, right? Plus, considering the fact that he avoided he at almost all cost, I don't think he wanted to tell me.
Maybe I was over reacting over this. Maybe I was becoming one of those over reactive and jealousy filled girlfriends that I always dreaded to be. Or maybe I was right, and something was really up.
I turned around and began slowly walking down the steps as the door opened behind me.
"What are you doing here?" Nick asked.
I turned around to see him holding an almost devoured sandwich. "Just thought I'd stop by."
Luckily all my pacing took almost all the redness out of my eyes. Hopefully my eyes weren't too puffy and noticeable, because I wouldn't hear the end.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes," I lied.
"You're lying," he smiled.
"Well you're stupid." I exclaimed. "So utterly stupid and idiotic!"
He looked shocked as he furrowed his eyebrows. "What?"
"Stop acting so clueless. What's wrong with you? Why are you avoiding me?" I said with anger in my tone, "Who is that other girl that you're so worried about?"
His face dropped, and almost all the color in his face disappeared. It's like h saw a ghost, or the things I said hurt him hard.
NICKS POV
"Stop acting so clueless. What's wrong with you? Why are you avoiding me?" She screamed, "Who is that other girl that you're so worried about?"
I had never seen her angry before. It was kind of funny because she was so tiny, but her voice boomed like a bomb when she screamed.
"Well?" She exclaimed.
"What are you talking about?" I murmured.
"Mikey told Alyssa, and Alyssa told me. What is happening Nick, what is happening?" She groaned.
She didn't look fazed at all. Her face was like stone, it was so emotionless and careless. She was probably unaware how her words had an impact on me.
"I'm gonna kill him," I whispered.
"You know what? At least he helped me find out, rather than just ignoring me like you." She exclaimed.
ARIANAS POV
Maybe I shouldn't have come. I probably should've listened to my brain. I just ended up yelling at him, and he kind of just stood there in shock. He didn't want to say anything, so I just left. I walked away, leaving him on his porch with his mouth open, and silence.
Something could've easily been up with him, and he could've told me.
I quickly walked away, my feet pounding on the cement with every step. I punched my fisted hands into my pockets in hopes to keep them from shaking even more than they already were.
"You're not just gonna walk away," Nick yelled from behind me.
I didn't bother to turn around, "looks like I already am."
Foot steps behind me quickened, and soon enough, Nick was breathing heavily in front of me.
"You want to know what's wrong?"
"Yes, I do." I replied, not even stopping.
"Okay, just please stop walking," He begged.
I stopped, and looked at him angrily, "okay, tell me."
He took a seat on the grass of some park and patted the grass beside him. I sat down, my hands still in my pockets, and my face still hard as stone.
"Alexa." He sighed.
"Who is that?" I asked.
"My ex-girlfriend," he replied as he looked at the ground.
His ex girlfriend? She was still hitting him up? Did she know he was in a relationship?
Why was I blaming her? It was Nick's fault after all.
"Does she not know you're in a relationship?" I asked, biting the side of my cheek.
"I don't know. She probably does." He shrugged.
"Then why is she still hitting you up? Why do you even care?" I asked.
"She- I don't know." He murmured.
"You didn't tell her?"
He shrugged, looking at the ground
"Why are you still talking to her?" I asked.
"I'm not. She just.." His voice became quiet.
"I'm leaving," I said, standing up.
He stood up quickly, grabbing my hand.
"Ariana," he sighed, "Alexa probably knows that we're dating. She knows that you're my girlfriend. She probably knows that we're having this conversation right now."
I bit the inside of my cheek harder, looking him straight in the eyes.
"She's not here. She's gone." He stuttered.
"What do you mean?"
"She's dead, Ariana. She's not alive." He said as his voice cracked.
