"Hold your fire," Hux yells, his arm outstretched. "If it isn't Kylo Ren and his pathetic love interest."

You stand your ground next to Kylo, the lightsaber strapped to the elastic of your pants, feeling like it's burning a hole through them.

This morning you had insisted to yourself that don't want to kill anyone. Not even Hux.

But now, a certain familiar dark aura feels to be surrounding you. You try your best to shake it off, your eyes blinking rapidly as you focus all your strengths on keeping your mind open to no-one's manipulation.

Before Kylo has a chance to reply, a tall, gaunt woman in a black uniform steps hurriedly off the First Order's ship, her short grey hair flapping in the desert wind. She approaches Hux, and starts to clear her throat to get his attention, but he senses her and holds out his palm, thinking she has come with another glass-tablet message from Snoke.

The women clenches her jaw as Hux refuses to turn to look at her, her sharp cheekbones seeming even sharper.

"General Hux. Supreme Leader Snoke has sensed powerful Force users in the vicinity of the orbit of this planet," she half-whispers, half-croaks, unsure if Hux would have her executed for sharing such crucial information in front of the First Order's known treacherous enemies.

The hairs on the back of Kylo's neck stand up. He had read the woman's thoughts as soon as she had stored Snoke's orders in her memories. He had been tapping into every single mind of the people standing in front of him. He knows how malleable the will of these stormtroopers are.

Controlling them all at once would require as much strength as combing his fingers through his hair.

Even Hux could be controlled. Kylo looks at General Hux with well-earned disdain in his eyes, feeling the hatred roll off the orange-haired, red-faced man in waves.

Powerful force users.

That could only mean Luke, he thinks. Luke and the untrained-but-strong-with-the-Force-scavenger girl.

Memories of the girl had often brought with them so much anger that the scar on the right side of his face would feel like it's sizzling; the blood underneath the healed skin like it's starting to boil.

Now, his stomach churns in anticipation, hoping that her arrival meant another ally.

You didn't think Hux's face could turn a darker shade of crimson

You didn't think Hux's face could turn a darker shade of crimson. But you stand corrected, as his brows furrow and knit together, steam practically coming out his ears. He looks like a child about to throw a tantrum when things do not go according to plan.

Hard to imagine this ruthless person, obsessed with getting his way and destroying everything and everyone that stand in his path, was once a child himself.
