Looking out towards the sky she could see those beautiful mountains, glistening with snow. Across the fields and endless buildings those ice peaks stood strong and tall. Never before had she seen the mountain range so clearly and vividly as they were always veiled by clouds. But right now, in this enchanting moment she could see them as clear as day. Their deadly cliffs seemed so enthralling, their jagged image alluring her and making her wish she could go there. That she could experience those harsh unforgiving winds, the freezing snow, dropping temperatures and nature itself at its greatest. The sun reflecting off of the snow made the mountains seem as though they were glowing with an other worldly grace. Each peak, cliff, hill and valley could be seen. They called out to her making her feel as though the distance between her and those mountains was non existent. Sitting on the roof top she felt the cool mountain breeze blow over to her, she could feel the winds tickle her nose and tease her hair making it flow freely. The caress off nature against her neck sent a welcoming chill down her spine. Her smile was enough to show how she felt, the feeling of relief and release, the view was enough to make her feel free and liberated as though the wind had swept away all her worries and burdens. Her heart beat to the call of the howling winds, whispering from the mountains. After so long her soul felt at peace.
The magnificent example of creation was in front of her and she couldn't help but fall in love with it. Over the mountains eagles and gale force winds battled on, neither giving up. Another cool breeze came and whispered in her ear and once more played with her hair. The howling winds and the cold of the mountains called out to her heart and soul. They in turn responded with the same force and energy. As time kept passing and clouds danced around the ice covered peaks, she sang a low tune letting the instruments of nature guide her song. The breeze kept pulling at the girl's hair and tugged at her smile, she felt blessed and free as though she was in those very mountains on the highest peak. Her voice was carried on by the winds answering the harsh mountains, letting nature know the song in her heart and the feeling in her bones.
As minutes turned into hours and time passed by the clouds had started to return, the sun played its game of hide and seek with them and slowly the veil returned, hiding away the snow tipped peaks which were shining with their own bright and elegant radiance. As the winds retreated the girl's song came to an end and she was dragged back to a reality she didn't want to live in.
