The storm now stood at a calm, lightning still flashing in the distance but the merciless rain had somewhat settled; no longer beating down on those who were without shelter. The vast garden below glimmered with the rain water collected, seeming like an enormous pool, the moon's reflection shining brightly. The mirror image created would ripple occasionally with rain drops. An alluring gleam in the waters below her. Oddly reminding of an enchanted lake. The water below was as dark as the stormy skies above, the only thing disrupting the darkness was the bright moon.
She swayed alone in the night sky, her companions out of sight magnifying the moons's beauty and entrancing stare even more. She played her game with the night, completely dominating the skies. Despite being alone she shone so bright, so full of life. Providing light to those wandering in these nights, smiling down at the surface of the earth. She pulled the tides with her, beckoning them to dance in rage and power to her call. She sang to the wolves, listening to them howl to her as their reply. She gazed down at the life buzzing even in the dark of night. The rain added to her song, lightly drumming along. The trees danced with the winds, bending yet not breaking. The moon might have been alone in the skies but from afar she could gaze at the companions that danced and played in the night, embraced it and cherished her presence.
Oh moon, I sing with you.
You reflect my soul;
How even in your moment of loneliness you smile for the happiness of others from afar, wishing them the best.
