You and this world

  Selfish, harsh and cruel; this was the way the world turned. Where dreams and hopes were just illusions used to fool the innocent and naïve. Loyalty was just a thing of the past and love just a song without any melody. Nobody cared, they only tricked you and blinded you from seeing that they only used you. You were not a person to them, just a mere tool to be used when they saw fit. You trust and believe. You get close and have faith. However, in the end, you're just left broken and shattered.
