"Oh my Luz," I stopped in the kitchen and smelled everything, "I may just die now and go right to heaven."
She laughed, "Lena you do way to much flattering."
I shrugged my shoulders, "Can't help it if it's true I'm afraid."
She went over and stirred whatever she had in the pan, "Then learn to take the complements you are given dear."
I smiled and nodded my head, "I'm working on it."
"Good. What's with that anyway? It's not like you come from and abusive household right?"
"Oh lord no." I laughed and smiled at her, "I think it has to do with the constant berating at gymnastics practices, I was hardly ever given compliments there. It was always a what could you do better type of thing."
She nodded her head, "That makes a lot of sense Lena dear. Just know you will be getting lots of compliments from my boy."
I smiled, "He's quite the flatterer."
"We raised him right." She smiled and went back to cooking. Just as she did that the boys walked through the door.
"Oh my sweet everything. Mom this smells heavenly." Lin went over and kissed his mom on the cheek.
"Amazing as always my love." Luis went over and kissed his wife. I watched smiling at them, they were so incredibly infatuated with one another; it was one of the most beautiful things to witness.
"Hi beautiful." Lin walked over and kissed me quickly.
I grinned, "Hi."
"How was your afternoon?"
"So fun. Luz taught me some tricks of the trade."
He raised his eyebrows at me, "My mom? She wouldn't teach me anything and now she's going around and just giving her secrets away?"
I heard Luz laugh from the kitchen, "Oh Lin you need to hush. Every time I wanted to teach you you wanted nothing to do with it."
He smiled, "You might have a point mom."
"You guys are so cute." I said to Lin.
"We take pride in our cuteness. Isn't that right parents?"
Luz and Luis walked in and sat down with us at the table, "We do take pride in our cuteness." Luis replied to his son.
"I can't believe you guys are already leaving tomorrow." I gave Luz and Luis a frown.
"I know! I feel like we just got here. You kids have kept us quite busy." Luz smiled and squeezed my wrist, avoiding my bruised arm thankfully.
"I think it's you guys that have kept us busy." I replied to her.
"I second that. I've seen more of London in these past five days than I have my entire time over here."
"Now whose fault is that?" Luis cracked a smile.
"Likely mine." I laughed, "I hardly ever want to go out."
"Not that I mind." Lin gave me a quick peck on the cheek.
"Oh it's such a wonderful thing seeing you two together." Luz smiled.
Lin cracked a smile and shouted, "Idea!"
We all gave him a confused look, "Yes?" I laughed at him.
"Parents and Lena squish together, I want to Twitter you."
I shook my head but obliged to his wish. There was one thing about Lin that was incredibly adorable but frustrating, he got what he wanted. You could try and argue your way out of something but when he had his mind set to it he was going to get his way.
