"What?!" I hugged him even tighter, "Don't you have a movie to film?" I looked up at him.
He smiled, "Might've coerced my way into getting a week of extra time off."
"You are so mean!" I snuggled into him; "You made me think that I wasn't seeing you for a while!"
"Well it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now would it?"
"I guess not... but, what! I can't believe you're actually here."
He kissed me slowly, "I can't believe it either." He pressed his forehead to mine and kissed my nose.
"Wait a second." I pulled away and narrowed my eyes at the beautiful man standing before me, "How did you know where I live?"
"You're mom might've helped me?"
"That woman!" I laughed and shook my head, "She's a little witch with a b for keeping that secret!"
"I must say I'm impressed that she kept it a secret for so long."
I looked at him and gave him my wide eyes stare down, "For how long Lin-Manuel?"
"Shit," He laughed and brushed his fingers through his hair, "I dunno... Maybe a month or so?"
My mouth gaped open, "Oh my God! I had no idea you guys had it in you to keep secrets for that long. That's pretty damn impressive."
He smiled and scooped me up into his arms, "I thought so too." He kissed me and placed me on the couch, "Guess what?" He asked.
"Hmm?" I mumbled while snuggling into his side.
"I love you."
I smiled, "I love you too, you sappy bastard."
"Sappy bastard?" He laughed.
"The sappiest of all bastards."
He laughed again and played with my hair, "I'll have to use that line in my next play."
"Next play?" I looked up at him, "Do you have something in mind?"
"Oh do I." He smirked, "But I can't tell you yet."
"Unfair."
He smiled and kissed my nose again, "You'll be one of the first people to know once I get the pitch put together okay?"
I smiled, "Okay. You win."
He shook his head and laughed, "Oh you are so god damned beautiful."
"I'll take that as a compliment even though it didn't really sound like one."
He smiled, "You are something else mi amor."
I winked at him and got up to grab some water.
"Hey Lena?" I heard Lin ask from the couch.
"Yeah?" I said while making my way back to where he was.
"I have a proposition for you."
I nodded my head and sat back down on the couch next to him, "And what might this proposition be?"
"Don't reject it right away okay?"
"You have no confidence in your proposition pitching skills do you?"
He smirked, "I think we should get a dog."
"A dog? Like a real live dog? Like a dog that we have to feed and take outside and make sure it doesn't you know die? One of those kinds of things?"
