After taking my sweet old time getting ready, I decided I finally looked presentable enough to head to a gay bar. I had to look good enough but not too good, there was a fine balance. I opted to wear a casual floral dress and some ankle booties that had a slight heal to them. All in all I think I looked good enough.
I made my way out into the living room where Lin was sitting watching something on the television, "Hey handsome." I smiled at him.
He looked up and his eyes got wide, "Not fair that David gets you tonight, you look so beautiful." He said while giving me the puppy dog eyes.
"You'll get your fair share I assure you." I kissed him on the cheek.
"I better." He winked at me.
"Oh trust me, you will. But for now, I must say goodbye. David is downstairs waiting for me."
Lin stood up and wrapped me in a tight hug, "Be safe but have fun. I love you forever. I'll see you later." He kissed me.
"Goodbye fiancé." I kissed him back.
"Oh I like the way that sounds." He grinned, "Husband will sound even better though."
"Of course it will. Soon enough babe. See you later!" I waved and walked out the door. I quickly made my way down to David's car and hopped in.
"Well don't you just look hot as hell?" I said to David as I buckled up my seatbelt.
He grinned, "You don't think it's too much?"
"No way! It's actually perfect. Jeans and a tight top like that make you look literally hot as hell."
"You're making me blush Lena. And you look stunning as always, how do you do that?"
I shrugged my shoulders; "It only took me like an hour to get ready."
"Well you look stunning." He smiled.
We chatted away for roughly 10 minutes before he found a parking spot near the bar, "You ready?"
"As I'll ever be." He grinned.
We swiftly walked into the bar and found a seat at the bar. David quickly found his element and started happily chatting away with the fellow next to him; I on the other hand didn't find my element right away.
The bartender came over, "What can I get for a pretty lady like you?"
I smiled at the clearly gay bartender, "Well, what would you recommend? I like fruitier drinks."
He smiled, "Let me make you something sweetheart. Do you like pineapple?"
"How did you know that's like my favorite fruit in the world?"
He winked at me, "Let me fix you something special."
I watched him whip up some concoction and set it down in front of me. He watched as I took a sip, "Holy hell! What is this? It's so good."
"I knew you'd like it! It's pretty simple, Absolut Vodka with some pineapple juice, a little bit of soda water,a few pineapple chunks and some mint."
"I'm going to remember this one."
"You better hunny." He smiled, "I'll be right back."
He waltzed away and started talking to a man on the other side of the bar. The man gave me a curious look and the bartender pointed at me. I pretended not to notice and kept sucking down the succulent drink in front of me.
Someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and the man from across the bar was there. He was quite handsome, "Hi." I smiled at him.
"You look lonely."
