Girl On Fire

Arii's POV

"I guess your wondering who I am." he said.

"I'm a friend of your boyfriends... Rajae." How does he know Rajae? How'd he find me?

"Where's Rajae!" I yelled.

"Ah Ah Ahhhhh." He said while shaking his pointer finger at me.

"Where's my money?" He asked.

"I dont know what your talking about." I said squirming trying to get out of the tight ropes around my wrist.

"Rajae took something from me. I want it back. If I cant get it back.... and neither of you know where it is... then your of no use to me. I already got rid of one.... Your the last one." He chuckled and lit another cigar blowing the smoke in my face. I choked before I spoke.

"What do you mean got rid of one? Were's Rajae?! What did you do to him!?" I asked half crying.

"You ask to many questions."

BANG

He shot me in the chest. I immediately started coughing up blood.

"Burn it." He said to the four men as he walked out. The men started to pour gasoline all over the carpet and over my bed. The smell made my eyes burn. Then the left the room and closed the door. Next thing I know, smoke was leaking from the bottom of the door. I was feeling weak but I built enough strength to pull myself loose. I rolled over and fell off the bed. Crawling to the door I began half yelling.

"Heeeeeelp." Was all I could get out. I was choking on the smoke. I stood up and opened the door and was immediately greeted with flames.

"Ahh!" I yelled as I covered my face with my arms. I limped around the flames the best I could without getting burned and made it to the stairs. I didn't realize I was holding my breath until I started getting dizzy. I slowly fell forward and fell down the stairs. I laid face first in what used to be my beautiful living room. There was glass and fire everywhere. Blood that spilled from my chest and now gashed forehead was on the white carpet. I reached over and put my hand over the shattered picture frame that held the last photo me and Rajae took together. We were so happy. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Then everything went black.
